There is no sign outside and even the number is not obvious from more than a few feet away. It took myself and the taxi driver over 40 minutes of driving around the same area before we eventually found it.||It's basically someone's house, while trying to make money as a hostel. Feels a bit like they've come up with the idea of a hostel , and opened it up before actually getting it ready.||They advertise a laundry service, but when I asked I was told no. Not great after 3 days in the desert! The wifi did not work at any point in my 3 days. The shower changed between boiling hot and freezing cold no matter how it was set. On the 3rd day the water kept switching off completely, and it was completely cold.||Noisy work was being done on the building all day long. Children run around the house constantly, kicking footballs against the bedroom doors even when occupied. The TV is blaring at all hours, often with the living room door wide open, and the owners have loud conversations outside the bedrooms with no consideration for the time of night. On my second night, someone knocked on my door at 11pm, but when I answered, no one spoke. I think I was the only guest, so it must have been one of the household.||I felt like an intruder in someone's home, while not being able to sleep at night because of the constant (very...
Read moreI stayed this hostel for 3 days. The cleanness of this hostel is A+. Good bed making everyday. The kitchen facility was good too. The price I paid was much cheaper than other hostels in the town, so if you prefer cooking and want to save money, it's a good hostel I think. ||Even though I didn't care much, there are some cons. |The location: Close to the bus terminal, but a bit far from center of the town. Approx 7-10mins.|The noise: One of the staff's daughter shows up at the hostel randomly and she cries or yells sometimes. She is adorable, but it's a bit annoying if you have to go to bed for early activities. Also, the front door is always shut, so every time someone comes, the one has to ring a bell. For security purpose, it's necessary. But it happens all day which means very late and early time for someone's pick ups for activities. Bring ear plugs.|The stuff: They speak only Spanish. If you ask them for help, they will help you, but not proactively at all. |Common place: there is not a place to socializing with people. The eating space in patio is very limited. The entrance space is dominated by stuffs. So if you want to meet people at hostel, this isn't the place. |Those cons were all acceptable for me and overall it was a...
