Guest House Santiago — Hotel in Santiago

The hotel is in a pleasant old building. It is fairly central and I felt safe enough but I did not like all the graffiti on the buildings in the area. It is not street art -- just horrible ugly scribbling from people wanting attention 'Look what I can do' ( Nothing)||My room on the upper floor looking out on the main street with tree was pleasant enough. It was quiet. The bed was comfortable. The toilet was very small and the shower was very temperamental to get started - although OK once running - but again a very small shower area. The breakfast was rather sparse and uninspiring in a very small and uninviting room on the ground floor.||Service was OK - but nothing special.||All in all - there was nothing terrible - but nothing special. As another review mentioned the décor is pleasant and the hotel is clean - but lacks personality. Fine for a couple of nights -....

Guset House Santiago is well located. Easy to walk to the centre and just metres from Santa Ana Metro station. The decor is fresh and modern and the place is clean. However it lacks warmth and personality as the owner/manager chooses to be elusive. There is one lady serving breakfast which is basic/adequate but thats it. I got the feeling they just want the money with no service/effort offered....but a guest house is in the 'hospitality sector'. Certainly none...

La casa es antigua y oscura. Siempre tienen las luces apagadas de pasillos y escalera. De afuera tampoco está iluminada...al chófer del transfer le costó localizar el lugar.|La habitación súper pequeña( yo, que viaje con mi hija de un año, apenas tenía lugar para caminar). Me dieron habitación arriba! Todos los días acarreando el coche por escalera! Ni hablar el día que nos fuimos con todooooo el equipaje!|El piso de la ducha súper resbaloso y el agua no salía caliente! Apenas tibia ...|Sin TV!( Lo cual reconozco fue un error mío el no leer bien!)|No cambiaron las toallas en los 4 días que estuvimos, y casi le camina una cucaracha por la pierna a mi beba( la espanté antes que sucediera) Un asco!|El desayuno básico: te o café,pan, manteca,mermelada,4 galletitas Oreo, un yogur y leche( la cual uno de los días estaba cortada! Ya que te la dejan en una taza servida desde la noche anterior).|Cómo frutilla del postre: engorroso el pago en el hotel! Un ida y vueltas con el " administrador" y la empleada. No nos querían dar boleta! O nos daban la opción de que paguemos y que después nos la enviaban...|Terminamos pagando y nos enviaron voucher electrónico.|En fin....para...
