We had two nights at this hostel, close to the centre of Valdivia. They don’t advertise parking, but you can pull into their gated drive and park there. We arrived a little early, but check in was strictly 3pm.||||Up to our room on the first floor, which had a double & a single bed. Quite a Spartan room and a tad threadbare, along with a scruffy looking wardrobe, but it was all clean. Good sized bathroom, but again very basic with thin towels.||||Breakfast – the most meagre breakfast we had on our trip. We were then brought a yogurt and white bread that had already been toasted. There were a couple of apples one day and some unripe plums the next. We didn’t starve, but it was a very frugal affair.||||There is nothing particularly wrong with this hostel. Needless to say we didn't get to check in early but left our bags there so wasn't all bad.|The place is noisy! Between dogs barking and babies crying, super loud creaking floorboards in the cabins, it was difficult to sleep.|For the price of the place (not cheap at all!!) I expected the breakfast to be alot better. It consisted of a sweet cake, jam and bread.. terrible coffee and sugary orange juice/water mix... some eggs would have been welcomed but unfortunately they were not offered.|I gave 3 stars simply for it's cleanliness...

It is also very handy for the bus station - from where, incidentally you can get a bus that drops you a short walk to...
