Overall very pleasant stay! Bed was comfortable, room was pretty big, housekeeping did their job well. I only found some small flies in the bathroom each time I went to shower, maybe the drain has an issue underground. They should look into it. Also the smell when I first entered the elevator and my floor were weird, but it faded away quickly.Location is perfect, close to the metro station and the big street with shops. Nice foodcourts close by.Service only lacked in use of English and just general information which they did not provide me. I randomly found the laundry room and a restaurant on the fifth floor which I did not know of. But when I asked a question, they were willing to answer through a translation device. All facilities necessary in the room except a fridge! AC worked, so did hairdryer, and the used toothbrushes etc were replaced each time. Trip says no window room, even though there was a window. Just not a view lol it was pretty weird? I can’t even explain what ‘the view’ was. Could not open the window but it’s still not a dealbreaker and at least I could get...
Read moreHotel is in a great location, just off the Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. The entrance is very tricky and the lobby shares the building entrance with a courier company. The hotel floors are on the 5th and 6th floors of a mixed use building. The lifts are smelly and stuffy, as the building cleaners use the same lifts to haul out huge stinky bags of garbage. The hotel floors are decent enough. The beds are comfortable and towels plush. However, housekeeping should do a better job of removing grout around bathroom fixtures and the room had an odd smell on our first night. Our room had a faulty shower. Even after the plumber fixed it, we weren’t able to have hot enough water but we just made do with it. Service at the front desk varies. Some are good while others not so. The only male front desk receptionist we encountered made extra efforts to ensure our hot water was functioning again by dropping by twice to follow up and even drying our wet...
Read moreThe hotel has an excellent location in the very center of Beijing. The weather was windy and it was great that the hotel was very close to the metro. The room is not bad: there is a large TV, air conditioning, hairdryer, kettle and tea accessories, bottled water, disposable slippers, plenty of towels, shampoo and shower gel. The hotel has an excellent breakfast: a large selection for every taste! Disadvantages: the bed is large, but very hard. There is no window in the room. The staff is polite, but they don't speak English at all. And the biggest drawback: a transparent partition to the bathroom and toilet, as well as a non-closing door. We only stayed for one night, and it wasn't so critical for us, but we couldn't live in this room for a long time. However, the hotel has a pleasant price and...
