CHONGQING HOLIDAY RIVERVIEW HOTEL — Hotel in Chongqing

The hotel is in a great location, you are able to walk everywhere and it is close to the train as well. The room at the hotel had some smell, and the room service cleaning was inconsistent. There was work being done in the 12th floor and there was some noise but they did notify us of that once we checked in. The lobby is really hard to find from the street, they share building’s with the four seasons and you have to go to the 15th floor, so it’s a little difficult to find at first because the name of the hotel is only in chinese characters so not easy to read or find. the stay here was great, room was clean and location turned out to be extremely convenient. if you don’t mind some walking, it is walkable distance to most attractions like 十八梯 and 山城. 3 stops away from 李子坝 by metro. we also want to thank 小爱 and 小双 for especially giving us tips on how and where to purchase a luggage, and when we needed to make an exchange for a bigger one - there were some hiccups, which they helped us to solve. they spent their time and sincerity in helping us and we really appreciate it. thank you to them and the manager for making the stay so much better with the excellent service attitude! they also gave us some recommendations of other attractions to visit on our last day, which we would have missed out otherwise. thank...

1. This hotel is located right behind 洪崖洞 with great views of the river from the lobby, which is also on the 15th floor. There’s a big reception and cafe area with free coffee voucher with three nights’ stay.2) The reception and cleaning staff also provided good service.3) The room is also comfortable with side view of 朝天门 and well equipped with useful little things like shower gel and ear plugs etc. Hot waterfor showering also comes quickly. There’s also free laundry & dryer service, but you need to hang most of the clothes in your room to dry them completely.
