Here’s the translation to English:The Roosevelt is one of the best choices possible. First of all, the location is unbeatable. It is situated in the middle of the peninsula between the two rivers. Walking uphill from the entrance, you can reach the impressive Raffles City in just 20 minutes, with its extraordinary architecture. Walking downhill in the opposite direction, you’ll arrive in 20 minutes at the wonderful fairy-tale-like City Alley, home to delicate residences and businesses where you can get lost for hours admiring the beautifully designed shops and spaces filled with color and exquisite taste. To one side lies Liberation Square, close to the famous slopes of the city, as well as a network of commercial streets. In any direction, you’re in the heart of the city’s vibrant life, with endless opportunities to sample countless dishes at numerous eateries. Needless to say, the architecture in every direction is equally impressive. And with that, we turn to the hotel itself.Secondly, the hotel, a very tall tower, is visible from many parts of the city, and it is everything a hotel should be. The views are breathtaking, especially the higher you go. On top of that, it’s a hotel as it should be, with floor-to-ceiling windows, wooden floors, and lovely wooden furniture. It’s fully equipped, even with a jacuzzi for those who desire it. The rooms are very spacious and include an elegant robe. Needless to say, everything is automated. The reception service is first-class. For an additional charge, there’s a fairly varied buffet breakfast.Let’s add that the hotel is only 100 to 150 meters away from metro and bus stops, making it an excellent base for excursions to places like the pottery village. Additionally, the must-see monorail that passes through a building is also just a short...
Read moreI have stayed here 3 times. It’s the best hotel in Chongqing, no comparison. The television is set in a way where you have access to the hdmi ports, so you can connect your laptop or phone and watch whatever you want :) There is a full size refrigerator and freezer in this room. Many hotels in Chongqing have refrigerators which do not get cold enough; this place has a real fridge that actually works. The bed is comfortable The room is gorgeous. It looks like it would cost 500usd a night or something. Yet, i paid $600 for TWO ROOMS for 6 nights! $50 a room. Unbelievable. And both of our rooms were on the 43rd floor. One of the best views in the city! The room has a nice laundry machine, and they may provide detergent upon request. The bathroom has a smart toilet, with bidet etc. The shower has a system you can turn on to ventilate all the steam. There is a full kitchen area, complete with a dish washer. Not that you’d need to cook anyway, with how good the food is nearbyThis is the best location in Chongqing. Jiefangbei is exactly where you want to be, and this hotel is less than a 15 minute walk to all the best places to eat, shop, and hangout! My bedroom has a projector screen, which doesn’t offer as much freedom as the tv does, but you can still screen cast, it just doesn’t work well if you need a vpn for the content you’re trying to watch. The staff is incredibly attentive. You will never have to buy your own water. There is enough space and there are enough chairs in here to host guests. It’s quite spacious. And again, I can’t say it enough. The interior design is wonderful. If you didn’t know the price, you’d guess it would cost at least 4 times as much as it does. This place is excellent in every way I...
Read moreRoom was nice and spacious, and the toilet amenities were good. Toothbrush, toothpaste, combs, hair dryer, etc. were provided. The hotel was also located in a good location, within minutes walk to nearby shopping streets and food streets. However, the daily room cleaning could be improved as the same table/floor stains could be observed throughout my stay despite the daily indication for room make up. Front desk staff and reception service (over wechat) were friendly and courteous. Facilities could be also improved as the washer-dryer did not work well. The dryer function did not work at all and despite several rounds of drying (following instructions given by staff on how to operate the machine), with each round taking several hours of our time, the clothes remained wet and we were left with no choice but to air dry our laundry. Also, the room cleaning service staff did not check and replace the laundry detergent for our subsequent use of washer when they tidied the room each day. For those who are particular, do also note that the hotel seems to be under central air conditioning system. As such, the room was rather stuffy throughout my stay there (since it was Mar and the indoor heating was operating, we could not turn on air conditioning to lower the temperature indoors), and we could only rely on keeping the one window open for fresh air to ventilate. Also, the front desk was unable to provide services to help call a taxi for our last journey back to the airport, but we were lucky that there were a few taxis waiting by the main roads near the hotel, despite it being early in the morning at around 5am. Despite all of these, I would nonetheless consider this a rather positive stay, for its price...
