EAST Apartments — Hotel in Hong Kong

I lived here for a year and can only recommend the place. From the moment I arrived I felt at home. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and always helpful. The room is beautiful, really clean and offers everything you need. A small kitchen with a great view, living room with couch and smart TV, bedroom with comfortable bed and spacious cupboard, bathroom with lovely shower. Also there's a small balcony and air conditioning in the living and bedroom. The kitchen has a small fridge, an oven and two cooking plates. There are also some dishes and cutlery. The cupboards are equipped with some hangers, but you can ask for more if needed. Same for the flat iron and ironing board. On the third floor you can grab a coffee, use the small gym and do your laundry. The place is safe. You can only enter with a key card and visitors can only enter to the third floor, where the staff office is located. The place is located very close to the Quarry Bay metro station, Quarry Bay park and promenade, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment itself is quite though. Also, EAST hotel is close and as a resident of EAST Residences you are allowed to use the bigger gym and also the pool of the hotel. This is indeed a combination of serviced apartment + hotel, so the house cleaning was not provided once a day but once in two days, but you could always ask for new towels. ||As it is not a regular hotel, no formal reception desk was found, instead, a property management office was located at the third floor and pressing doorbell right outside the office room to get the staff out would be needed for your check in and check out.||This was a lovely place for my little staycation after an exhausting trip overseas. The room was exceptionally clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. The location was convenient with lots of restuarants around. Walking distance to MTR and shopping malls, 7-11 was just right next to the hotel. ||But the entrance was not as big scale as most hotels, both the taxi driver and uber driver I called missed the place or mixed it with the East Hong Kong, which locates near the City Plaza shopping centre at Taikoo Shing. Everything about this place is fantastic. I never want to stay in a hotel in HK again, if I can come here instead. Management are super helpful with all kinds of requests. Housekeepers are sweet and do a great job. Kitchen is so so nice, given the proximity to amazing supermarkets in the area; Aeon, Apita, Le Parc, FRESH. The walk to Cityplaza is not covered but only 4-5 mins cutting through side-streets, still very safe. The common area, I did not think I would use, but actually it’s nice to go there (esp if your room doesn’t have a balcony). Since it is a semi-private space and quite empty at the moment, you can take a drink or some of your own food to have there. Good availability for washer/dryer machines, other guests seem well-mannered with removing laundry on time.
