Low quality ingredients and overpriced - very disappointing.
I have tried all Catch Concepts restaurants and I can say I am a regular customer at Elementary Tai Hang where I find the food reasonable and the staff pleasant.
This new Catch restaurant in Quarry Bay is far beyond the basic standards I was expecting. I came three times for lunch and my disappointment got worse each time.
1- The Haloumi & Quinoa Salad (HK$148) is very small and have almost no Quinoa. Plus, I was charged extra HK$20 because I requested for a bit of bread (I was offered two slices of stale plain bread to be precise);
2- The Pumpkin Risotto (HK$148) - this popular dish from Elementary is actually different. It is smaller, has a tiny bit of cheap industrial grated cheese. Not to mention that we can not taste the pumpkin as it is polluted by the Tabasco sauce and the intense flavour of the added sun-dried tomatoes;
3- The Fish & Chips (HK$188) was disgusting - probably the worst I had in Hong Kong. The fried fish (probably a frozen one) has no taste and was left with all the skin. The hand-cut chips are simply low-quality frozen potatoes wedges - on top of that, they were not fully cooked.
In conclusion, despite the dishes are Instagramable enough, it is overrated, the quality and quantity are much lower compare with other Catch Concepts branches. If you respect yourself and like good food, I do not recommend to go there. Personally, I will not go back to any of...

Thanks for the response Alex. I’ve amended the rating as the restaurant, the weekday morning staff, and the food are actually eggcellent!
On the staff: there may be no reason to lie but sometimes there doesn’t have to be. I asked a clear question three times and was told there was no other menu and the prices were always the same.
Anyway, thanks again for the response and good luck.

Tldr: Wanted to give Catch four or five stars. But they implement differential pricing and when questioned told porky pies.
Long version: Ate here several times during the week. Came back at the weekend and was presented with a different menu: same items, but materially higher prices. Asked the waiter who said it was the “weekend menu” but I should talk to the “manager”. So I did: he flat out told porky pies to the effect that there is only one menu and that the prices were always the same. Time-dependent pricing is irritating (particularly as I was the only customer in an otherwise empty shop), but I accept it’s increasingly common and rational at rush hour. But staff fibbing to customers put me off so I had...

Had been to another branch at Sai Ying Pun before, loving their chillax ambience and their seafood, perfect for a casual date night ❤️ And then realised they opened a new branch at QB, so definitely give it a go!
This branch got a little wine bar, which is perfect for Happy Hour or long lunch if you feel like it! Went their with a friend and ordered their signature spicy crab pasta 🦀 that never disappoints. Perfectly cooked linguine with slight chewiness, fully absorbed the flavourful crab sauces - amazing, though it’s a bit too oily after a few bites.
Another dish is the jerk chicken - the plantain chips is a boom💥
Awesome food, great ambience, perfect location, will come back...
