Hong Kong is not a cheap city to stay in. It is very rare to find somewhere cheap and good. For starters, this is not a hotel nor a hostel. It is a "guest house", which is accommodation in a mixed use apartment with everything ranging from residential to light industrial to ladies of the night all in the same building.||||This guest house is impossible to find. Its address is 80 Nathan Road, but its entrance is actually on Cameron Road. TIP: Type in 3 Cameron Road on Google Map to get it to guide you to the right location. It does not even have a reception for checking in; instead you have to go to another equally impossible to find building to get the keys for checking in. At least the location is central, you can fall out of bed into TST MTR station. There are plenty of shops and places to eat within walking distance.||||The rooms are on the 8th floor of the building. I paid extra and got room 808 (one in a group of eight) with a window. The window faces the lift lobby which means no view. The room is as expected, tiny with very little space to move or store your bags and cases. However instead of the typical cheap, tiny and boring box you get in HK, this one is at least decorated in various bits off old buses. Good if you have a bus fetish. In fact, buses is the only thing you see in this place, right from entry there are speed limits painted on the floor and bus stop signs pointing you to your room.||||There are NO facilities at all in the room (other than a TV, kettle and small shower room) or outside (this being a residential building). However given its location, there are everything you may need just downstairs. There is no point in going to Hong Kong and spending the time staying in a hotel all the time anyway.||||Given its location and cost, I may return to this if I am going to HK in the future.||||P.S. Housekeeping did not look the doors of any other rooms and they are all empty so I went in to take...

It was a good choice for us because we basically had the whole floor . The rooms were small but comfortable. Everything was within reach. Luggage stowed under the bed.. The bathroom was clean, towels were changed daily, looked new and clean too. there was Free wifi. What I liked most was the location. Located in TST, just across the mosque. The place felt safe also since there was a gate that closes by 11 and we had our keys. Overall it will be my hostel of choice next...
Read moreIt's our first time in HongKong. We booked and paid the double room 2 people for 3 nights via Expedia.com before we get there over 1 month. We checked-in late night due to the delay of travelling time. Then we texted the hotel officer and asked him to stand by for us. The hotel is not hard to find, we're pleased by the location. ||||But what make us so dissapointed is....on first night we didn't get the room that we booked.!!!! The officer said that the room we booked is sth. broken down so he moved us to other building and down grade us as family room (a veryyyy tiny 4beds and 1 toilet I'll show you). We're so tired and had no choice so we waited for tomorrow so we could talk with the manager and see what he can do for us.||||Second day, the officer moved us to the room that we booked. The room is not cleaned yet. There are trashes and snacks of visitors before us!!! All the officers can do is telling us to see THE MANAGER. We waited all over 3 days to see and ask him for refunding the price we paid in first night and get lower room type.||||Until Monday the last day we had to check-out, we went to hotel counter and.........."There is no one at counter. The office is closed. The manager is on holiday." We found a maid who responsible cleaning room and we asked her to call manager for us.....After talking with him abt 15 mins, what we got is he said he can't refund or do anything or any resposible for the mistake happened. He told us to call and blame EXPEDIA becuase it isn't Panda's fault. IS THIS MAKE SENSE????SHAME ON UR SERVICE!!!||||If you want a happy holiday in HK, please go to other hotels not PANDA'S.||||เรากับแฟนไปเที่ยวฮ่องกงกันครั้งแรก 2 คนค่ะ จองล่วงหน้า 1 เดือน วัน Check-in ไม่ได้ห้องที่จอง โดนย้ายห้องไปตึกอื่น เป็นห้องรวมเตียง 2 ชั้น สำหรับ 4 คน เตียงแคบมาก ห้องแคบมาก พนักงานไร้ประโยชน์ ขอ Refund คืนส่วนต่างห้องที่จองกับห้องที่ได้ในคืนแรก พนักงานทุกคนบอกให้รอคุย Manager ไม่มีใครตัดสินใจอะไรได้ วันที่สองย้ายมาอยู่ห้องที่จอง ห้องยังไม่ทำความสะอาด มีคนมาอยู่ก่อนหน้า (แต่ตอนย้ายห้องเราคืนแรกบอกว่าห้องที่เราจองแอร์เสีย) รอคุย 3 วัน จนวันจันทร์ Check-out พนักงานหนีหมด ไม่มีคนอยู่เคาว์เตอร์ ออฟฟิศปิด เจอแม่บ้านต่อสายให้คุยกับ Manager....
