Hotel Sintra — Hotel in Sé

Overpriced hotel by standard, lift to 9th floor is taking ages and the whole place only have 2 lift and max out easily at 9 pax in the peak hour.

Hotel is pretty near to the new street and Grand Lisboa but thats all you get. Receptionist is friendly but the hotel lobby is nothing grand, they have a porter working at the main door which looks classy though.

Hotel room is with a bath tub but mind me, i wont even bother using it because its so low and just dont feel new. Booking online would not secure you the transparent bath tub with water jet, you have to upgrade it or book through local agent. But i dont think it is worth the trade. Consider the strategic location (walking distance to most attractions) and the very reasonable (for Macau nowadays) rate, there's every reason to like this hotel. It's not 5 star, more like in between a 3 to 4, small lobby with friendly staffs and porters etc. Check in is simple and fuss free, the room is spacious enough, with comfortable bed, but a little outdated designs, which did not affect the quality of one's stay. Good air conditioning, good water pressure for showers, very quiet at night for decent sleep. I really like the hotel locationa, just right next to the Grand Lisbon which there are main bus station, so it's very easy to go everywhere and even by waljing distance. You can get to Senado square, The ruins of St. Paul church, Macao Museum, Monte Fort by foot within 15 mins. All good restaurants are in this area. Only one thing I want to comment, i asked Trip.com staff how can I get to the hotel from hzmb port, i received the reply that i can take 101x bus to Xinma Rd station which i did that, and we had to walk half and hour which luggage to the hotel to find out that we actually could get off the bus in yhe next 3 stations, then the hotel is just a few steps from there.
