Can't generalize to all rooms, but at least this was my experience: - Staff is nice and friendly - Room is spacious - Bathroom door is frosted glass. Badly misaligned and won't close shut - Bathroom odor exhaust is inexistent. If you go about doing your business, it will stink for a while. The only option is to crack open the window of the room, but the street in front of the hotel is VERY noisy - Same problem at night: if you want fresh air, you have to open the window to the noisy street - Large table to work, but the overhead lamp is burned, and there is no other lighting option - Bedside table is very dusty (since the day of arrival) and cleaning staff does not seem to care about it. Big problem if you are allergic - Towel hangers are in bad shape. I wanted to reuse towels more, but they keep falling from the hanger. - Sink is constantly clogged The overall experience would have been much better if there was some more attention to maintenance.

Decent hotel in Chapinero. The immediately surrounding streets seemed mostly residential but it is next to Carrera 7 where one can travel easily from. It takes about 30-45 minutes to get to the airport by taxi depending on rush hour. The hotel is trendy but a little dimly lit. It has silhouettes of people in the lobby areas and even the rooms which is a little disconcerting! The breakfast was good with decent selection. Service was also good and luggage can be stored in a locked closet. The main drawbacks were that the WiFi was a little slow, the shower was a little weak (not helped by the showerhead being about 2m high up and not adjustable) and the lack of privacy! I tried to catch up on sleep with a 'Do not disturb' sign outside and had 2 people knock on the door, 1 cleaner open the door and apologise, and then a call from (?) reception! Needless to say I gave up on sleeping.

The worst service and lack of knowledge of how the Colombian law and policies work is incredible. The collaborator Tatiana, with her terrible attitude and mannerisms and in addition to the mistreatment of foreigners, is incredible! Yesterday a family (2 grandparents, aunt and therefore the minor (grandnephew) of Costa Rican nationality, arrived to the hotel with a reservation created more than 6 months in advance. They arrived early in the morning to do the check in, however, due to the early hour, the room was not ready but they are allowed to store their luggage and have breakfast (additional payment). In the afternoon they came to check in, Tatiana with a terrible attitude requested an apostilled letter from the lawyer indicating why the minor was traveling. This happened without allowing the customer to present the passport of everyone.

According to Colombian law it indicates that this document should only be required if the minor is of Venezuelan, Colombian or Peruvian nationality. Since coming from another country this procedure was previously validated by the authorities of the outgoing country and additionally the entry permit to Colombian territory by the immigration authorities.

This happened despite the fact that the travelers were already staying in Cartagena and Medellín, Bogotá being the third city they visited and everything happened regularly.

On the other hand, the hotel does not have any information regarding this policy on its website or with their suppliers. Literally, customers were thrown out onto the streets. This was a terrible service, adding the fact that Tatiana's attitude was arrogant making this hotel not friendly for foreigners...

DO NOT COME HERE. Terrible experience from start to finish. Booked a room online that included breakfast. When we arrived we paid in full and were informed that breakfast would be an extra $30,000 COP/ Per person/ per night only after we had paid already. ||||When we explained that our rate included breakfast we were met with confrontation explaining that was not the case even though we showed them the website where it said it was included. It was late at night so we went to bed being they said they would have someone call in the morning to resolve this. After waiting and receiving no phone call we called ourselves. After a 20 minute phone call with the front desk explaining that we booked online and THEIR website says breakfast is included, we were told “our rate was too low” and there was absolutely nothing they were willing to do for us. ||||Also, the walls are so thin in the rooms that you can hear your neighbors conversations clearly, constant noise from the city, the rooms have terrible Wi-Fi, and the room seems to shake when you close the door. Overall bad customer service, bad Wi-Fi, bad rooms. Avoid...
