FOOD: We ordered the lomo novillo angus and pesca fresca, they were both tasty but nothing extraordinary. The french fries were ok but the sauteed veggies were rather oily. The berry milhoja was fantastic and quite different from usual ones, not as sweet as others I've tried! SERVICE: The place was packed on Saturday lunchtime and our waitress forgot one dish and a drink. It came after we ordered again, but it took a long time and everyone was already done with their meals by then. Even though that was less than ideal, I can understand how difficult waiters have it with having to remember all orders, so, why not have them carry notepads or something? In any case, they gave us a complimentary dessert for our troubles, so that was nice. ATMOSPHERE: I loved the French music, which could be heard properly and didn't ring in your ears, but the tables were absolutely ridiculous. We got a table for 4 which was utterly uncomfortable and tiny; and the place in general looks like they're trying to pack as many people as possible at the same time and just threw comfort out the window. AMENITIES: Toilets were clean, men/women shared cubicles side by side if anyone cares. There was no parking available and we had to park at quite some distance (but this is true for almost anywhere in chapinero).
Overall, it was ok but I won't be going back, it was simply not worth it to me. My main issue with this restaurant were the prices which were extremely high for the experience you get (e.g. COP$40.000 for average oily veggies) and they want to charge every single thing...
Read moreAll members of our party of six agreed that is a nice restaurant with good service and food. However, we had an issue with the knifes which were not cutting the meat well, giving us the sensation that the meat was not tender. After requesting the knifes to be replaced, we found that all of them were the same. Our waitress mentioned that he has been struggling with that problem receiving complaints in several occasions and the issue has not been taken seriously by the administration. The manager mentioned to us that new knifes has been ordered from Argentina but the answer was not convinced at all. I personally believe that once you note that problem, you as a Manager or Owner of the place, cannot wait and must take immediate action replacing all the knifes with new ones the next day, this improvement should be a priority for a restaurant that...

I was excited to try this Uruguayan spot, but the experience fell short.
Unfortunately the service was really slow and the main dish was disappointing. At least 15% of the meat was just fat, and I couldn't bring myself to eat that. On the positive side, the complimentary focaccia and sauces were really delicious—definitely the highlight of the meal. The salad was a nice touch, and I did enjoy it, but the Yuca chips were a letdown. They were too thin, which caused them to absorb the fat, making them less enjoyable than I had hoped.
Overall, while it wasn’t a terrible meal, the quality doesn’t justify the price. I think you could get much more delicious food, for less, in Bogotá—where you could easily eat two more and delicious portions for...
