The food was more miss than hit. We ordered three things
*meatball appetizer- this was the best dish we had but there could have been a bit more Maillard browning to develop some flavour, overall it was still good though, thanks to the waiter for flagging it had dried fruit in it, we like that but I know some people don’t cacio e pepe pasta - more like an Alfredo (an authentic Alfredo - not tacky like you’d get at Olive Garden), very cream forward without enough pepper or parm - pasta was slightly over cooked but was tasty. There was barely any pepper though, can’t stress this enough. Overall not bad but not impressive. Caesar salad - not really a Caesar salad. Very anchovy forward (and not great anchovies), not enough garlic or lemon, we added lemon juice at the table and it took it from inedible to just kind of rough wine - not great, but one of the better glasses I had in Colombia
The room is terrific, staff is good, prices aren’t crazy. I think they could halve their menu size and just focus on what’s working. Too many options are hard...

Read moreCame on the recommendation of mi reina 👸🏽 de Bogota, @otherworldlyval, because I mentioned I am a very particular wine lover 🍷 ♥️ and struggled to find good wine bars in Colombia 🇨🇴
This was by far my best dining experience in Colombia!
The server, José, did a fantastic job from the moment I walked in and asked to sit at the bar. He immediately brought out the menu and showed me what they had by glass! Multiple options by glass!!! Then he explained he’d have me taste them from dry to fruit forward - amazing.
I tried the pickled veggie aperitivo and the house bread, which was absolutely delicious.
I will definitely visit again on a future...
