Hotel Casa Quero is one of those rare places that has true character and warmth. It’s quaint and charming, with so much personality that you feel like you’re staying in someone’s beautiful old home instead of just a hotel.||What really made my stay special was the incredible staff — they felt like family by the time I left. Even though I don’t speak Spanish and most of the staff doesn’t speak English, the warmth and kindness bridged any language gap, from being greeted during the day by Monica and Ed managing the desk, and coming back each night, ringing the bell and seeing the same night guard felt comforting, like coming home.||Breakfasts were a highlight — freshly made to order every morning by Anna, the head chef, who is an absolute delight. One of my favorite memories was arranging a special lunch cooking experience with her — we cooked together, laughed, and instantly became friends.||If you’re looking for a hotel with charm, heart, and people who make you feel truly welcome, I can’t recommend Hotel Casa Quero enough. Read moreBeautiful hotel at a great price point. Hotel Quero is a former colonial home that has managed to retain so many beautiful details. We stayed in the Grand Suite and the room was beautiful-we were in awe of the massive space, super tall ceilings, and spacious bathrooms. The rooftop pool was definitely a highlight for us. During mid day when the sun was hottest we would return to the hotel for a swim and I’m not sure how we would have survived without it. Also the hotel is very small and we barely saw anyone else which made our stay feel like a real escape, in a great way. Staff was excellent and accommodating. Also, we thought the location was perfect. Its in a quieter area of the walled city so not in the middle of all of the chaos-but definitely walking distance. We absolutely...
Read moreAmazing location, amazing architecture, amazing staff. Everything about this place is amazing. The rooms are spacious equipped with AC, the suites have a beautiful balcony to see the street and views. The rooftop pool gives you a 360 views of the city which is absolutely stunning during sunset. Back to the staff. Esteban was an absolute pleasure to work with. Super friendly, helpful, and professional. Always was available for advice and never complained of the 18373737 things we asked him for. The location is literally walking distance from all the major areas in cartagena. Minutes from the clock tower and all the restos, bars, and discos which make it ideal for tourists who would rather explore and not worry if its safe. I highly...
