This restaurant was amazing, and not only because of the food. The drinks, service and music were fantastic as well! We went with a large group, and David took very good care of us. He gave us wonderful suggestions and ensured that our drinks and meals were served in a timely manner. I had a passion fruit margarita, which was to die for. However, I decided to try a lychee margarita at David's suggestion and although I was apprehensive because I had never heard of the fruit, I am do glad I did. The drink was amazing! My husband had a mojito that was delicious, as well.
My meal was the steak medallions with mashed potatoes, and the steak was incredibly tender and deliciously flavored. I was so satisfied with my meal that I thought there would be no room for dessert, but we ended up ordering 2 volcano cakes stuffed with Nutella and Arequipe (dulce de leche) with ice cream, and they were so good!
Others in my party had the steak pimienta, ceviche, lomo saltado and a sampler, amongst others, and we were very pleased.
In addition to the great food, drinks and service, the live band was excellent. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to...
Read moreI was recommended to try this restaurant by a local friend. I heard that they’re famous for their fusion cuisine, location and ambience. Reservation has to be made almost one week beforehand to get a table, and walk-ins are almost impossible. With all the hype, I had to try.
We ordered a sharing appetiser, a seafood & beef main course for 2 and also their primavera sangria.
We had their Piqueo Mistura for starters and it was great! A very good start to our dinner. Sangria was wonderful and not overly sweet.
I had their seafood stew style that is served with plantains, tasted delicious, creamy, a little sweet and very fulfilling. My boyfriend had the pepper crusted tenderloin with mash potatoes, tasted really good as well however portion was small for the price (200g).
Prices are a little high for Cartagena in general.
They were playing live music and the ambience was really nice. It was a beautiful date night all in all and will visit again...
Read moreAmazing ambiente and staff. The fruit juices were amazing. Unfortunately there was a rare smell of bad fish as I waited for my ceviche and sushi. I should have listened to the smell and not eaten the fish. It ruined my whole trip, i had food poisoning for the remainder of my days in Cartagena, i could not leave the bathroom. Do not trust this restaurant in preparation of ceviche and sushi. They do not have the knowledge nor care to handle the seafood. It needs to be 100% fresh and this restaurant does not care. Do not put your life at risk as foreigners have died from there lack of food poisoning in Cartagena this year . They don't understand the importance or they don't care. The bill was 200.000 including a tip for the service, because the servers were the best i had received in Cartagena, and the worst food in Cartagena. Save your money, it's extremely expensive, even if you don't receive...
