I don't usually leave bad reviews, but the service here was beyond horrible. Our server was clearly stressed out and overwhelmed. We saw her crying on the other side of the restaurant, literally with tears down her face. At first we all felt bad for her, but then management not only failed to rectify the situation but somehow made the experience even worse.
Our drinks never arrived after a long time, and then our food started to come out before the drinks. By then, they started bringing some of our table's drinks but not all of them. There was no apology for the inconvenience, and nobody told us that they would have the drinks right out. We had to point out the obvious that not everyone at the table had drinks in front of them, not even the waters that we asked for at the beginning. The remainder of the drinks finally trickled out to the table over several minutes after we had started eating.
Additionally, they also forgot one person's plate. When we asked where it was, our server said that she would check with the kitchen on the status of it, but she never came back with an update. After waiting impatiently for our server to come back, we flagged down someone else for help - I believe the manager - while our server was crying again across the room. He casually said that the kitchen was closed without any concern or sympathy. As you might guess, there was never a last call before the kitchen closed. We told him that the plate was forgotten about the FIRST time we ordered it, which was ages ago by that point, and one member of our group still hadn't gotten her dinner yet. We of course told him too that the waitress was supposed to have gone and checked on it for us earlier, after the rest of the food came out when the kitchen was clearly still open. So under the circumstances we asked him to please ask the kitchen if they can make one final sushi roll for our group member who was still waiting for her dinner and VERY hungry by this point. It had been an hour since she ordered. He said he would go ask the kitchen for us, but then he never returned to the table at all - not even to tell us that the kitchen wouldn't be able to accommodate us or to apologize for the inconvenience. He literally just disappeared. At this point it had been a while since either he or the waitress had come by our table, and we all felt completely forgotten about. Shortly after, we saw him casually walking around without a sense of urgency at all, as if the conversation had never happened.
Both he and our server also never brought out the soy sauce that we repeatedly asked for when the initial sushi had arrived at the table, which was an eternity before that by that stage of the dinner.
Worst of all, this was an expensive restaurant by Medellin standards. Receiving such a lack of service at any restaurant would not be acceptable, but the fact that it happened at what is supposedly considered a fancy restaurant was just insulting. The food was just OK too and not even as impressive as we had been led to believe. If you're looking for Japanese food or sushi while in the neighborhood, I would not recommend this spot at all. Yacky Chan in La Provenza was amazing and the complete opposite...

Read moreFancy rooftop that didn't meet my expectations. In the menu there aren't many choices. The prices are high for what you get. We ordered 4 sushi plates, they arrived very, very slow and we were very hungry. The sushi's were okay, quite normal, and it isn't really worth the price you're paying. While we were eating, we wanted to order one more sushi so that it could arrive until we finish the last one that we ordered because they were bringing sushi plates one by one and very slow. They said their sushi was finished(?) Like how? How in a sushi restaurant the sushis can finish? So we ordered a Tostada de atún, it was good, but again, not spectacular. The drinks were also not that good. My sister ordered the cocktail called "kuro," which one may think the cocktail of the house will be good because they have given the name of the place, but wasn't good at all, you couldn't feel the alcohol inside so we asked if they can add a little bit more alcohol, they did but then it was pure tequila. Our friend asked for a soda with lychee & cereza and she also didn't like it. Overall, we didn't receive what we paid for, it always saddens me to overpay for stuff that...
