I would book with Hotel Cavalta again in a heartbeat!||- Service: 5 stars. We had an early flight and arrived mid morning. They stored our bags and worked to get the room ready for us early which we greatly appreciated! Service throughout our stay was impeccable. ||- Room & ambiance: 5 stars. We booked the Deluxe Suite with the tub and was so happy we went for it. The room is a comfortable size with a lovely layout and we also had cleaning services everyday. One morning I went back up to grab something from the room and found the cleaning person thoroughly cleaning up the tub, this made us feel really good seeing how they took care of the space.||Amenities: 4 stars. The only downside is that they don’t have a gym however they are equipped in every other area. There are two jacuzzis on the rooftop and I believe they also mentioned a sauna and massage room which we didn’t get around to taking advantage of. There’s a rooftop restaurant which provides an amazing panoramic view of the city and is located right infront of a landing strip so you enjoy a beautiful view with planes landing and taking off every few minutes. Breakfast was included in our booking and grateful for it which saved us the hassle of finding restaurants in the morning. There’s also a lunch and dinner menu with room service till 10pm, neither of which we got to take advantage of, and there’s also live music on evenings. ||- Location: 5 stars! 40 mins away from MDE and minutes away from all...
Read moreStay somewhere else... unless you like to party all night long.||||Despite the fact that is a fairly new property I had to checkout within hours and demand the refund of my money for the following issues:||||1- when arrived.to the hotel they did not have my booking.||||2- Room had a broken curtain||||3- The TV had only 3 local channels - this was not communicated at all||||4- mini bar incomplete||||5- wifi password not provided ||||6- The phone was disconnected on purpose "due to covid-19" so you have to go down to the reception for any request - then they give you a whatsapp number to contact reception in case you need assistance and nobody read your messages for long time.||||7- the room next to mine started partying and blasting the music around 2am and by 4:30am after sending several messages to reception I had to go down and asked the front office team to do something about it as I needed to rest. It took them 30 minutes to get the situation under control. BEWARE apparently it is acceptable in that hotel to blast the music even if you can hear it in your other rooms and/or thru the whole floor. ||||8- I asked the management to refund my money so I can move to another hotel and they still charged me a full night despite tha fact I could not sleep at all.||||Although it is a Hotel it is managed as a Motel - extremely...
Read moreSometimes, a hotel dazzles in its photos but disappoints in person—like a bad Tinder date. This place seems to aspire to the edgy coolness of The Standard Hotel in Los Angeles but misses the mark by a wide, noisy, and slightly grimy margin.
Upon arrival, we were a bit early, but instead of a warm welcome, we were met with a rigid “come back at 3 PM” vibe. Once inside, the room was less chic and more… bleak. Noisy neighbors, unclean surfaces, and lights that didn’t work made it feel more like a low-budget horror movie set than a relaxing escape.
As for service, let’s just say it was nonexistent. When we asked for a cab, security (or someone impersonating security, since they were sprawled on the couch) casually told us to go flag one down ourselves.
Two nights were booked, but one was all we could endure before retreating to a quieter, more competent refuge. If you’re deaf, unfazed by subpar cleanliness, and allergic to hospitality, this might be your vibe. For everyone...
