HOTEL GRAN CONQUISTADOR 33 — Hotel in Medellín

If you want to be down town Medellin, this is the place. It is very close to the stadium.

The staff is very helpful and kind. Breakfast was a very nice meal of eggs, bread, crackers and jam, fruit, fruit juice, chocolate milk, coffee.

Rooms were very simple. Beds were not bad, but weren't great. Beds come with sheets and a blanket if needed. Rooms were clean and had AC. One of our beds was missing a top sheet. It was very noisy from the traffic. There was a motion light outside in the hall that kept tuning on and off. We were so tired, it didn't matter, but felt it was worth mentioning.

There is a parking garage and they will fit your car in somehow. It can get packed. The parking...

NADA. Empezando porque la limpieza de la habitación era dudosa, las sabanas tenian como un poco de manchas de maquillaje, una almohada no tenía funda, la habitación no está cuidada, todo como desgastado. El desayuno? El peor desayuno que he probado en un hotel! Pensé que era buffet y no, es estilo carcel por decirlo de alguna manera uno pasa con la bandejita delante de las camareras y ellas van sirviendo la comida. Habia huevos o con jamon o con frankfurt, mas frío no podía estar, frijoles mas duros que una piedra, merengue(quien desayuna merengue?) Pan seco y tieso y para tomar te dan la opcion de café o zumo, nada mas! Si quieres agua no la hay, el zumo es TANG es decir artificial. Las chicas y el chico que atienden los desayunos super antipaticas, las de recepción son la excepción, muy amables! Seguimos, olvidé comentar que cada vez que te duchas se inunda el baño y hasta que al día siguiente no limpian la habitación se queda el suelo empapado, si vas al aseo por la noche se te mojan los calcetines. En la habitación no hay mantas, solo una sabana finita. Y SOBRETODO!!!!!! los trabajadores son maleducados y poco respetuosos ya que a las 7 de la mañana cuando empiezan la limpieza de las habitaciones, hacen un ruido descomunal, se ponen a gritarse entre ellos de un piso a otro "oigaa baje que necesito toallas" "ahora bajoooooo" total cosas asi gritandose de planta a planta sin importar el descanso de los huéspedes. Asi me desperté todos los días, eran mi alarma. La ubicación no es la mejor, casi todo lo turistico queda de 30 a 40 minutos, en transporte y justamente está ubicado en frente de un puente donde por debajo en las noches se llena de indigentes que duermen allí, que no dan problema ni dan inseguridad, pero da mala impresión para el hotel. Las fotos que cuelgan considero que son engañosas, ya que ni de lejos se acerca a lo que es...

The room M 3C I booked was not the same as the pictures. Lots of stains on the beds and dirty everywhere. I complained and got a better room. I didnt get a full information when checked in. You are supposed to get a breakfast ticket according to the staff in the reception so i missed the breakfast The day of check out. I didnt get the roomed cleaned once under my stay. They had a lack of service of the important and normal service of an hotel Bit they answer my questions in general. The noise of the traffic is very loud, use earplugs. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.
