after years of trying vegan food around the world, I have to say this place totally took me by surprise. Being Colombian, I can tell you this is the closest I’ve had to traditional Colombian food that actually tastes and looks like the real thing. I had the Mondongo and the burger. The mondongo was excellent, the texture of the meat actually looked a bit like cow stomach and the texture as well, and of course the flavour was just amazing. HOWEVER, the plate that took the throne was the burger. It wasn’t anywhere close to as gluttonous as a bandeja Paisa and I’d generally prefer the carniverous version, but I admire their creativity and ambition. Read moreThis was honestly some of the best food I’ve had in Medellin (vegan or not). It’s really nice to have food that isn’t just vegan but also made with intentional ingredients and care. The mondongo con orellanas was really good and filling. The dessert was a surprise watermelon compote of sorts. The maracuyá juice (Passionfruit) was natural and not too sweet. The mango zucchini salad/slaw was also unexpectedly good. The servers weee also very professional and friendly. Can’t wait to eat...
