Casablanca Hotel — Hotel in Santa Marta

The private room is pretty and has nice AC but there is literally only a bed and a chair… One TINY window. The shower leaks everywhere in the bathroom and the door doesn’t shut. It does have a beautiful pool which I feel like is the main point of the hostel. HOWEVER, it is to note that once you check out you CANNOT use the pool. Our check out was at 11 and we had to wait before taking our bus back to Cartagena which was at 4 pm. After walking a bit more in the city we came back to the hostel hoping to jump in the pool a bit since the weather that day was like 35’C. At our big surprise, even if the pool was EMPTY, we were told that we could only hangout on the couch where there is no AC. It took an hour to the lady at the reception to finally tell us that she would do an exception for us to go in the pool for a bit… I was very grateful but honestly I find it shocking that they preferred to let us stay on the couch sweating all the water I had in my body instead of letting us use the pool for an hour when there was literally NO ONE in it. Honestly this place is not that well located (the area feels very unsafe at night), the staff is kinda rude (they seem like they don’t wanna be there) and the day of the checkout you cannot even use the pool (the lady at the reception wouldn’t let us, although NO ONE was in the pool?). Aún que la ubicación es un poco pegrilosa puesto que está ubicado en el centro y pues es barrio es como un poco chirri Solo 1 chica de el personal es amable Los otros dos es como si no quisieran trabajar

Anoche. A eso tipo 11 me estaba quedando dormido y sentí que me empujaron la puerta ,no sé si fue sugestión mía o el viento Pero no quede tranquilo el resto de la noche Y el día de hoy puse la silla trancando la puerta y me asegure que estuviera bien cerrada por si acaso La energía no se siente pesada
