Artesanal Restobar — Restaurant in Santa Marta

Firstly, there has been a whopping increase in prices in just two months. Drinks have increased by nearly 30% and food by 20%. Service is poor with inattentive staff who you need to walk to just to get their attention. They seemed to spend all the time talking amongst themselves rather than scanning to check whether there was a customer in need. Advice for chef: hot shellfish should not be served on a bed of salad - the salad should be served separately! The dish that we ordered was supposed to have 200g of seafood but I do not accept that this was the case. There were two mussels and one clam. I know what 200g of shellfish looks like from what I have purchased in a supermarket and seriously believe that we were 'short-changed'. Having looked at replies from the owner in respect of previous customers' concerns, they just seem to put grovelling apologies without accepting fundamental and genuine concerns of customers. I also have serious reservations about the probity of previous reviews... Many reviewers have never given a review before the one that they gave...

Sorry I had to rewrite my review, on Thursday night I ordered 5 pizzas for lunch and dinner for my staff, I paid on the same night just to ensure the pizzas (4) will be ready for lunch at 1 pm and the other one at 7:30 pm to make sure all shifts were provided with food. Right before 1 pm, my husband went to pick up the pizzas to our surprise, they were not made, having insisted regarding their lunch hour. They waited 45 min, we were reassured that at night time the pizza will be ready by 7:30, just to send someone to pick it up and it was not even made AGAIN!!! He called me 45 min later, that he needed to return to work, I called the place and after an apology the pizza was delivered. Why do I have to go to the agrivation of trying to do everything right were they are not even trying. I am writing cause I don't want this to happen to anyone else. Left to be said I WILL NEVER VISIT OR ORDER FROM THIS...

This is a great little place to hang out, eat some good food. We are vegetarian and had several great vegetarian options for us and our kids. The food was tasty and had fresh and ample veggies. We ordered pizzas and crispy potatoes. The ambience is wonderful and in a very lively part of Santa Marta. I would have given this place a 5 star but the waiter assigned to us looked disinterested in general and messed up our order and did not bring us basic items like cutlery and plates much after our food had arrived. The other point about this place is, it takes a while for orders so definitely go there but make sure you have ample time and good company or enough to do on your device to keep you busy :) Overall great place for vegetarians and people with and...
