So many things wrong with this hotel sadly, despite being welcomed by friendly and helpful staff and a pleasant reception. ||Let's start with pidgeon faeces and dirt floating visibly throughout the tiny pool and dirty jacuzzi - disgusting. Or the fact you're forced to choose between a front room with zero sound insulation on a super noisy street (and a fake inaccessible balcony) - or an interior room with a non opening window onto the stairwell.||Room decor is sadly nothing like the polished appearance in the photos - everything is cheap old MDF in tatty condition. The bathrooms are somewhat nicer but let down by lukewarm water most of the time, despite the hotel assuring us they have hot water.||Food is below average, but served by a lovely team in the pool area who are a delight to be served by. The restaurant is pleasant but built like a glass greenhouse, with inadequate air con that fails to keep it cool enough. The view of the cathedral is very pleasant, though the odd cramped design means there's not many spots with a view of it. ||WiFi is flakey, which caused us major problems trying to get work done. But again, the friendly staff did what they could to help us - they're just fighting an uphill battle against chronic...

a heavy service and a reliable porco administration. a couple of weeks ago my boyfriend and I stayed there for 4 days, unfortunately we had an unpleasant experience, we stole 400 usd of the backpack, unfortunately we realized upon arriving at another accommodation there in santa marta, before doing the checkout of the hotel we went to dive and decided to leave the suitcases there in the suitcase room for approximately 6 hours, then we went to the hotel to make the respective claim and they only sent a video of 2:30 minutes where it shows the moment when my move leaves the suitcase in the place, the normal thing is that they send the 6 hours of recording to verify that nobody really handled our luggage, I communicated several times with the hotel requesting the complete video and they never answered again, my boyfriend also left him contact, it's a pity that we are not there now to put the respective complaint! In a hotel where the night costs almost 80 usd it is incomprehensible that you lose valuable things and no one responds even your complaints,...

Don't stay here. Much like others mention, for $164USD per night this place leaves you with a very bad taste. It is a tired property, filthy in many common areas. The "suite" we booked was a tired room with a door that wouldn't close properly, no phone, hard pillows, old towels, crappy TV service, curtains don't close, dirty windows, a bathtub that was not anchored to the floor and looked like deathtrap because you plugged it in next to water, broken old hair dryer! Breakfast was on the sixth floor which was abysmal, just eggs and fried arepas along with the worst coffee you tasted in Colombia! The pool area looks dirty and unwelcoming. Don't waste your time or money here, it's not worth it. Don't be fooled by the pictures, we were clearly charged tourist idiot prices. The pics you see were clearly from when it first opened and it is NOT what it looks like now.

+ The pool is great with a nice view. Rooms are clean and the bath is nice. That’s it. - After booking a city view room, we got a room with corridor view. We needed to change the room. The rooms are not pre air conditioned, when guests arrive . The air conditioner turned off after putting out the room card. So we had to ask for a second card. The breakfast is half empty. At first day no coffee and no eggs and no jamon. You always have to ask. By the way, the corridors are not air conditioned too. The elevator didn’t work for some hours and get stuck. So we decided not to use it. However, it seems that the hotel management tries to save costs at any time at each service. Hotel can only be recommended for the pool.

The hotel was very pretty and rooms are comfy The staff was friendly. We have booked it last minute as another hotel cancelled on us last minute due to overbooking. It was more expensive but we took as they have a swimming pool on rooftop. When we have checked in we found several faults in our room like a broken shower, not enough towels and no batteries in the safe. When we went upstairs we only found that we couldn't use the pool as there was cleaning and it was shut till NEXT DAY. Cocktails in the bar upstairs were excellent and food was ok. Breakfast was great and it served on top floor as well, so its a nice thing to have. Therefore i can rate this hotel at 3.5 max.
