Update:
There’s a huge difference between “connecting with nature” and unacceptable sanitary conditions. Dirty sheets, a dead cockroach next to the bed, and ants everywhere are not “part of the experience” - they’re basic hygiene and maintenance failures.
And most importantly: the dismissive and hostile attitude of your staff. Being threatened that you’ll replace filthy bedding “just this once” - as if requesting clean sheets is outrageous - and then throwing a duvet cover at me and refusing to change is insulting and unprofessional behavior.
Notice there’s zero apology or accountability in your response to me or any of the reviews here. Just blame-shifting and dismissiveness toward your guests.
You can be an eco-friendly hotel close to nature while maintaining basic cleanliness and treating your guests with respect.
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it was a complete nightmare from start to finish. The room was infested with ants, and I found lizard droppings all over the sheets. In the morning, I woke up to find a dead cockroach next to my bed. When I asked for clean bedding, the staff member became hostile and aggressive, saying he would give me new sheets “just this time” - as if asking for clean, waste-free bedding is some kind of unreasonable demand. Then someone came to change the bedding but only brought a duvet cover. He took the old one, threw a new one at me, and when I asked for a complete set including the pillow (which had droppings on it) and bottom sheet, he pretended not to understand and refused to provide them. To top it all off, they charge $1.50 just to fill up a regular water bottles. This place is unsanitary, the staff is rude and unhelpful, and the conditions are unacceptable. Do not waste your money here. Avoid...
Read morePlease DO NOT GO to this hotel! -1. LACK of any modern comfort 2. UNPROFESSIONAL and CREEPY MANAGMENT. From the outside it is very charming, but when you walk in it looks like an unrefurbished cabin from the 1950's. There are 50's style Jalousie mini angled windows that don't seal and allows all the main street noises in, including bugs, and also 5 am bird noises, so sensitive sleepers beware! No Hospitality tray/coffee machine. And what he called a "othopedic" mattress that moves easily across the wooden frame when simply bumped, so my hips that sank to the bottom wooden frame. MOST IMPORTANTLY CREEPY!!! I felt his intentions were sincere in trying to "help" me but he ENTERED MY ROOM when I WASN'T THERE, took a picture of my personal items on the table and sent it to me?? (EMOJI SHOCKED!!) (Went for a walk and left my car keys)I was like RUNNING OUT OF THIS PLACE and then refused to refund my other days saying I had to go through my booker- which of course, they wouldn't do, but he could of EASILY refunded me and refused upon a nice letter. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A SINGLE GIRL---DO...
Read moreDO NOT STAY HERE! 1.The accommodations were extremely uncomfortable- a cabin feel from the 50's. 2. UNPROFESSIONAL and CREEPY MANAGEMENT. I don't know how ANY good remarks can be said of this place. The mattress was thin, light, moved on wooden frame if slightly bumped- my hips dropped to the bottom of the wooden frame - (that he claims was orthopedic-?). the windows were a 50's Jalousie thin slated that don't completely close that allow all street noise, bugs and bird noise in to wake you at 5 in the morning. Big shower window uncovered? No hospitality tray/ coffee maker, 2. I thought the help took a pic of my keys/ belongings, but NO IT WAS MANAGEMENT ENTERING MY ROOM without CONSENT. It is VERY CREEPY to receive a pic of your personal belongings from a stranger! I wanted OUT IMMEDIATELY! He would not give me any refund for unused days and told me to go to the booking site, which he should have known wouldn't help me, and I even wrote him back asking and refused. No single woman ESPECIALLY...
