This camp site will always have a special place on my heart. It the best campsite I had in Costa Rica. It is outside the centre and therefore very quiet, but close enough to be in the centre within 10 min walk. The place has a lot of shadows, very clean toilets and showers (cold but good pressure!) kitchen and fridge/freezer. The trees hosts lots of birds, Iguanas, and sloths. The price-quality ratio is good. The owner Marco is very friendly, always willing to help and responds very quickly to messages. During high season I recommend to reserve because it is popular and can get full, especially during the weekend. Despite the amount of people, it stays pretty quiet and relaxed. Totally recommend! Thanks Marco, for your help with my broken phone, the late arrivals and the last minute reservations. I will always remember your campsite with lots of love and fond memories !

This is by far one of the most wonderful places I've been to for camping. All the animals are literally living on the premises! There is a sloth family, tukans, frogs, owls, a turtle, ducks and probably much more. Marco and his son Alejandro are the kindest and most helpful people I've met on my journey through Costa Rica. The place is brand new, it opened in summer 2022. It even has a pound. It is super close to the city center, but far enough that you don't hear or see anything from it. I slept like a baby in my hammock, it was super quiet and peaceful throughout the night. This is seriously a magical place. I wish I could stay for much longer than just a night, but I had limited time in Costa Rica and had to go.

Spend 3 nights here over a long weekend in September and it could not have been more incredible & fun. The owner, Marco, and his son are the kindest people I have met in all of Costa Rica - and that's saying a lot. They showed us around the site, and the whole property to see their resident sloths, frogs and more. Truly incredible spot, with cooking facilities, really nice bathrooms and showers (cold water but very good pressure and refreshing). Walking distance to La Fortuna town and easy to get to the hikes and waterfalls all around. We will be staying again!

Marco and his son Alejandro are such genuinely kind people, they made us feel at home right away! The property is huge, so there is a lot of space for tents, campers and vans. There is a strong wifi connection, which makes this place suitable for digital nomads (Marco even built us a little desk to work on). At night it's very peaceful and quiet, though the campsite is at walking distance from the town centre. There is a lot of wild life to see too, pretty amazing. Within one hour of being there we saw 2 sloths, a toucan, a little red frog and an Iguana. All for a very affordable price! If you are in need of a bit more luxury, there is a very nice Airbnb on the property aswell! Definitely recommend...
