Such beautiful people own and run this little restaurant outside of town. They were so nice and cooked typical local foods with such passion and love. Please eat here! Plenty of street parking! They take 💳 card!

I have been to Costa Rica 5 times so I am very familiar with sodas. Soda is what the locals call their family owned restaurants.

Each plate has a meat of your choice with plantains, beans, rice, and veggies.

Price very good and they have smoothies. I wish they served Imperial 🍺 though... But that's ok.

We ate here for breakfast and dinner because it was 2 houses down from our Airbnb.

For an authentic Costa Rican breakfast in La Fortuna, this small soda is a must-visit. The breakfast dishes highlight the country's culinary staples: nicely seasoned gallo pinto served with plantains, cheese, sausage, and buttery toast. Every bite is comforting and packed with traditional flavors.

The other dish I tried offered light but savory taste, crispy fried fish on homemade tortillas, simple and delicious. Pair these meals with refreshing drinks like a fresh smoothies, and you have the perfect start...

Can’t recommend this place enough! If you’re looking for a light atmosphere, with a kind staff, delicious and affordable food, away from the more touristy areas, then this is the place. We stumbled upon this cute family-run restaurant and had to come back a second time. They have real Costa Rican food and it comes in just the right serving size. It was such a nice experience we had to come back for breakfast a second time. Thank you so much for giving us a wonderful eating experience...
