Le Petit Hôtel Costa Rica — Hotel in La Fortuna

The best "what you need hotel" in La Fortuna downtown. Their rooms have the necessary things for a pleasant stay, AC, private bathroom and TV (which personally i dont care). The place is really close to everything, supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, gas station... you name it. They have a small pool feed by natural spring water!!! An outside full equiped kitchen with fridge/freezer for their guests, also a gas BBQ is there if you want to buy and taste the amazing local meet which is great. Their owners Warner and Mathilde are a gem, very attentive, gentile and always worried for you, they do want you to have memorable moments. They can advice you on what to do even if you are on a budget. Whenever i will be coming back I will stay there for sure!! The hotel is in a main street so you might hear the cars passing by, just ask for the rooms in the back for a better quality sleep or do as i do and carry...

For my visit of 2 nights this place was fantastic and offered me exactly what I needed. It is located on the main road going towards the La Fortune waterfall, so it is a busy road and the rooms are right next to the road. It has a small outdoor kitchen with seating and a small pool next to the rooms. This setting is very inviting. The entire place is on a very small property and every inch is made great use off. I would go definitely back and stay there as it is also walkable within 15 to 20 min to downtown la Fortuna. We stayed in La Fortuna for only a few days and this hotel was great! The location and amenities were just what we were looking for. Each room has a bathroom and A/C plus communal access to a kitchen and pool. The price was unbeatable. Everyone at the hotel was also super nice and answered any questions we had. The location was great for walking into town for food and for getting picked up for various tours.
