Without a doubt the best food in all of La Fortuna. It is run by a Costa Rican family and there are they are the most friendly and welcoming.

The food is absolutely incredible and homemade. You can get sauteed vegetables, shrimp, a whole grilled chicken, beans, rice with shredded carrot, homemade corn tortilla, freshly blended juices - my favourite is beetroot and orange juice all for 5000. The plates are massive and it is all freshly made to order in front of you in the window.

Just ask for the daily special (usually 4000, mine was 5 because I would ask for an additional protein or a modification).

If you want to eat the yummiest food from the best family in La Fortuna, COME EAT HERE. The quality, the care, the execution was sublime. This is a lovely spot ran by Roy and his family, who were so friendly and welcoming, we went back again a second night! The food was freshly cooked to order and really tasty- we tried a few different dishes over both nights and enjoyed them all. The service was perfect and menu is very reasonably priced.
