Terrible experience and definitely not worth the price. First of all, no one speaks a single word of English here. They just ramble on in Spanish and don’t even bother communicating with Google translate.

Upon arriving they couldn’t find the key for our room, so instead we got a room that’s like a small worn out bunker where I couldn’t even stand up straight cus the ceiling was so low. Next they forgot the WiFi password.. great checking in after a long day and can’t even relax on the WiFi. It took them 2 days of whining before they managed to get the WiFi password from somewhere.

Well wouldn’t you know it. The WiFi is absolutely terrible. No signal in the room, only at the pool area and even then the connection speed is worse than 3G.

Then our toilet broke down and couldn’t flush anymore. Great whilst in the midsts of taking a poop!

There’s some kind of hotel/hostel at the other side of the road blasting really loud trance/rave music every evening up till 11ish. The bass makes you wonder whether this whole place is gonna collapse or not.

The beds are some of the worst I’ve ever slept on. Waking up every morning with the springs tattooed on my back.

The pool is very dirty. I’d suggest not to swim there. They don’t filter it probably to reduce costs. If you wanna get a bacteria infection go ahead and take a dive.

The kitchen area is the most basic and filthy kitchen I’ve ever seen. Wasn’t even a spatula and just 2 forks and 2 knives?? Good luck when there’s more than 2 people...

I book two nights 2/25 through 2/27/2020 but I decided to check in a day early so I book extra night ahead available in booking 2/24/2020 the price in booking was $38 plus $5 Costa Rican taxes , the owners of the place when cancel after check in place my extra booking .... tell me they never charge $38 for a room at night , started all kind taxes and fees and end charging me $63 for extra night .... thank god I save in my email & took picture of my reservation, I will back states will take with my credit card & booking too , about what this people are doing too . It was not only me , I spoke other couple how book in Airbnb and pay ahead when got there they were trying to charge them again..... they act really friendly people , but wash out!..... BTW I am Costa Rican & speak their language very well .... but what try to do with some people is not right .... I was not in mood to fight with them and ruin my vacation, but I will fight back that extras charges...

Do not bother with this place. We were looking for beach parking. A guy flagged us down to park there. Now we wouldn't have had an issue with paying, but the guy that flagged us down said we had to pay (which was more expensive than other places because we wouldn't rent an umbrella from him). So when we said wow talk about extortion the guy replied, “yes U are in MY country, I can do whatever the f*ck I want.” And he went on with more nasty words. Nice way to treat people, cant imagine how they would treat an actual customer if something went wrong. Go down a little bit more or up a little bit, way nicer people and cheaper. I would also like to add that i have been here ten days, and this is the only place that I have experienced this foul talk and disrespect. Just drive past this place and look...
