Nikolina and her husband, Stiejpo, have a wonderful, welcoming attitude and a lovely guesthouse that they obviously love sharing with visitors. As mentioned by others, there are plenty of stairs to get there BUT there are plenty of stairs to get to most of the great places in Dubrovnik, including the Old City and the beaches. ||Our room, #4, was well appointed with a kettle, mini fridge, hair dryer, tv and air conditioner, and extremely clean with a lovely little balcony with a great view.||Nikolina had juice in the fridge and a selection of candies for us as well. Our only complaint would be that the bed was very firm but that is a matter of personal preference and would not be enough to discourage us from returning.||Stiejpo welcomed us with a cold beer and took time to show us some of the highlights on a map, it is obvious that this couple love their city too.||Nikolina was gracious and helpful in every way that we needed and we would not hesitate to send our friends and family to stay with them.||IT SHOULD BE SAID, they have built a fully equipped kitchen complete with dining table and wood burning oven, for their guests to use and it is available with almost unlimited hours! Had we known earlier, we would have loved to have made a home cooked meal for ourselves... and to invite our hosts to share it with us would have been lovely. ALSO, try Stiejpo’s wine or Turkish coffee, both are a pleasant surprise that he is delighted...

Such a lovely lady who goes the extra mile wherever she can. When we first arrived we were very hot from an Uber accidentally dropping us to the wrong place (always ask to get dropped off at the road above the Guest House, top of steps, as their maps struggle to find the actual address) and she brought us up two bowls of ice cream to cool down and left some apple juice in the fridge!
The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and so cosy. The Aircon is amazing and the bathroom is modern. We had absolutely no faults.
We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Dubrovnik and recommend to anyone planning a holiday here.
A few tips while staying here- There's a grocery store just down from hotel Lero that does lovely pastries. You can have lovely morning picnics on the beach. There's a bakery just a bit further on too There's a Pharmacy before hotel Lero with lovely staff. They were amazing when my boyfriend got an infected sting from something and got food poisoning a few days apart😅 As I said before always get dropped off at Hotel Lero or the street above. The street above is the best choice to avoid the stairs. There's lots of stairs to get up to the guest house but that's the same across Dubrovnik We did day trips to Montenegro and Mostar/waterfalls. Both were absolutely amazing and around £45 per person. You can...

The room was exactly what it is advertised as. Clean, very good air conditioning, great shower, black-out shutters on the window, and a working fridge.
It's worth noting that almost everywhere that you will go in Dubrovnik has loads of hills and/or steps to get there. You cant escape it. And the guest house is no different. Its a little tiring getting your heavy suitcases up the stairs on the first day but its really not an issue. Each evening we got an Uber (very cheap) from wherever we were out to the top of the hill behind the guest house (remember this advice), so we just had a few steps to go down.
When we first got there, Nikolina (Host) met us, carried my partner's bag up the last couple of flights of steps, showed us the room, told us about the local area, then left and came back with the best ice cream I've ever eaten in my life (could be the lack of sleep, could be the 32 degree heat, but it's never tasted better.)
On the last day, our Host's husband (Stiepe?) took us to the airport at an agreed time for just 200Kn (£23), far cheaper than any Uber or Taxi.
I honestly cant rate this place highly enough. Absolutely perfect for couples on...
