The host was very friendly. His hospitality was amazing. We stayed four nights with my girlfriend and the place offered us everything we needed. We arrived there just before Croatia's world cup football game was about to start. The host "Tonci" was very nervous and we noticed right away that he seemed to be a true football fan. Regardless of this Tonci gave us a little introduction to the villa and to the town as well. We got information for the first evening and we were able to go to find ATM, eat some dinner and of course find a pub or outdoor screen for evening's football game.||Our room was small but we didn't need any more space. There was a common kitchen where you can make some food or for example store your beers in the fridge. The supermarket was about 200m far away from the villa and the town was within walking distance as well. But remember there are lots of hills and stairs in Dubrovnik! The garden and the terrace were nice with a beautiful view to the sea.||We would like to say special thanks to Tonci for your hospitality when you dropped us off to the bus station last day. We had looked wrong the leaving time of the bus and we would had missed the bus without your help! Thank you and wish...
Read moreWe arrived by catamaran well after 11 pm but Tonci, the owner, was right there to meet us. He gave us instructions for finding the nearby market and how to get to Old Town Dubrovnik. It may seem like a long way to get there, but by walking the shortcut suggested by Tonci, you arrive at the entrance, Pile Gate, in about 10 minutes! Several restaurants are nearby too.||The villa is in a lovely residential area, so it is quiet and private. It has a beautiful terrace with a view to the sea that guests are welcome to use. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with a great air-conditioner, which is very important in Dubrovnik in July!||On our last morning, we had to meet our catamaran at 6:30 a.m., and Tonci graciously drove us there. Terrific...
Read moreThe acommodation is for backpackers. Location is a little far from the Old Town. The owner lives in the property and manage the rooms (call him before arrive). He's a kind and helpful man, but there are some problems... cleanliness could be better (I felt some dust on the flor, probably from previous guests coming from the beach with sand on the feet or sandals). There's no extra toilet paper (fortunately it was not necessary). There's no toiletries (only some left overs from previous guests, like an almost empty bottle of shampoo from Israel). There's no breakfast and not many options around the hotel. Maintenance should be better, because some lamps in the bathroom were not working. There's a fridge in the room...
