I found the link to the Mysterious Game of Dubrovnik at the last minute before my trip to the city center -- and Sanja was more than accommodating. I picked up the packet and followed the directions and made my way toward town. There are so many different ways to go and things to see, it was nice to have things to look for -- and get a little background. The accompanying story gave everything context. The game is loose -- it's easy to veer off on a tangent, stop for lunch, etc. and then get back to it. l'm a grown woman with absolutely no knowledge of the area I was visiting, so the information was just enough to keep it interesting, without being overwhelming. I think it would be a really fun way to explore the city with kids....

We were expecting a lot of this guided experience, maybe too much, and that's why we were disapointed.

It is a lot of reading, maybe too much, and not enough puzzles and entertainment. The plot is interesting and what we learn about the city too. But for the price we were expecting a more complex game, a real investigation, like an escape game and this was not the case.
