Apartments Barcot — Hotel in Grad Hvar

Brilliant location- slightly away from the main square but the bars/ restaurants/ shops/ harbour only a few minutes walk away. Quiet at night. The route does get a bit flooded if there is heavy rain!! Hvar is lovely, clean and there is something for everyone! The nightlife is great but also not in your face if you don't fancy it. ||||Great apartment- fantastic value for money, enough space for 4 people, balcony, enough utensils etc, an oven and a table, perfect when we decided to cook in instead of going out for dinner one evening. Enough hot water for 4 people showering. Light and airy, air con. We didn't have any problems with the wifi. Owners are friendly and helpful. ||||The only bad part was that one of the patio doors leading onto the balcony did not lock- however, the owner assured that there would always be someone in at their apartment downstairs. We spent several nights at the Apartments Barcort in Hvar. We could not have asked for better accommodations. We had a great view, were close to the city center and had the most amiable and helpful hosts. The wifi was good, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. Frano greeted us with a bottle of his homemade cherry brandy which we really enjoyed. What really made their hospitality stand out was all the help Frano gave us with our email election ballots. Family of 4 from Australia stayed in 2 bedroom apartment in June 2012 for 2nights & 3 days. Could have easily stayed longer, such a lovely place. Apartment very clean, roomy & great wi-fi internet access. Also not far from city centre by foot with supermarket nearby. Great water pressure in shower with good kitchen facilities.
