Nonica Caffe Bar — Local services in Grad Hvar

If I lived in Hvar town I could easily go here every day. My waist would double and my bank balance would halve but my taste buds would be so happy :P

I came here with my fiancee on holiday last month and was extremely impressed by the beautiful creations on offer. We tried two of the layered desserts (I think they were called the "Teuta" and the "Mozart") which were really well finished and made with quality ingredients (the chocolate they use is Valrhona - always a good sign). The service is friendly and the price is about 20 to 30 kuna for one of the fancy desserts which I reckon is a bargain compared especially compared to a patisserie in...

Very nice little traditional patisserie. the brownies are amazing!! We had strawberry cheesecake and peanut butter the little round triple chocolate cake was very very rich. It is like pure chocolate layered in a cake. Good for those who like a little chocolate bomb the traditional hvar cake was good in flavor with interesting spices like cinnamon, olive oil. Quiet sweet though. Definitely worth trying.

Absolute hidden gem! Arguably one of the most authentic patisseries in Croatia.

The staff were lovely, made us feel welcome and provided free tap water.

The selection of desserts was incredible, at least 20 different cakes, gateaus, pastries and biscuits to choose from.

They all looked beautifully made and authentic, some were more Croatian styled whilst others were what you would find in Vienna.

Sadly I didn't try the coffee but they had a good...
