Apartments Komazin — Hotel in Grad Hvar

I have stayed at Komazin apartments for many years now, including this year (2021.) I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Hvar. The apartments are comfortable and clean, all with views of the sea. The area is 15 minutes walking to the center, but I prefer to stay in the more residential area, and the walk is mostly along the sea. There is parking and supermarkets close by. The best part, is the Komazin family who live downstairs. They have always made me feel welcome and are around if you need anything. Andro, who handles the bookings is the best host, one I look forward to seeing every year. He will pick people up at the catamaran so they do not need to wheel luggage too far, and he knows everything aBout Hvar, where to eat, where to drink, what to see. Nothing is too much trouble for him, he is obviously a perfectionist who wants the guests to have a good time, and fall in love with Hvar like I did. About the island.. do not come for one or two days just to visit Hvar town. Come for longer, rent a car (Dino, who rents cars and scooters just down the hill, is AWESOME) and really explore the island, which is extraordinarily beautiful with much history, pretty towns, fun drives.. and great food and wine. Andro was an incredible host who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. My partner and I are digital nomads and have stayed in 20+ places… Andro is in our top 3 hosts!

He was always available to answer any questions we had and provided GREAT recommendations for things to do in the area. The apartment was impeccably clean and had everything we needed, even kitchen supplies for cooking.

The best part? The balcony. It was VERY hot outside so we stopped a few times by the apartment and just gazed at the stunning view.

The location was also great - it was a short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches we've been to in Croatia (10 minutes) and close to restaurants and bars (15-20 minutes). Overall, we had an incredible experience and would highly recommend Andro's place to anyone visiting Hvar!

Me surpreendi positivamente com minha estadia de 4 noites no "Apartment Komazin". Eu jamais esperaria encontrar um apartamento tão grande, bem decorado, funcional e com uma vista tão bonita. Foi com certeza a minha melhor hospedagem e toda a ilha de Hvar é um paraíso imperdível.||||O Andro é um manager excepcional. Dou 5 estrelas ao serviço porque tivemos absolutamente tudo que se espera de um excelente hotel. Ele mesmo fez o transfer da marina para o apartamento, o que nos poupou tempo e dinheiro, além de pernas. ||Ele também deu dicas realmente valiosas e sinceras sobre restaurantes na ilha. Em nenhum momento ele deu dicas direcionadas para restaurantes de amigos ou parceiros. A impressão que eu tive é que ele me indicou os restaurantes em que ele e a família comeriam durante o dia a dia.||||Também tivemos excelentes dicas sobre as melhores praias e como chegar nelas. Wi-fi excelente, cama confortável, cozinha grande e bem funcional. O único porém foi o aparelho de tv a cabo, que não funcionou. Mas a verdade é que eu não me importei, já que eu não pretendia perder tempo vendo televisão ao invés de curtir o paraíso.||||Lendo os outros comentários dos outros hóspedes, acho realmente que as pessoas andam muito preguiçosas. Dizer que o apartamento é longe acho que é muita preguiça. São 900 metros, o que não dá nem 10 minutos dependendo da velocidade que se ande. Também não há uma subida íngreme nos últimos 300 metros, e sim uma pequena inclinação imperceptível. ||Acho que seria bem mais complicado subir as ruas perto da marina com aquela mala! Ficar um pouco afastado é bom para fugir do barulho e da bagunça. E, convenhamos, 900 metros é muito pouco para quem tem a saúde em dia e pernas funcionando bem.||||Normalmente as pessoas escrevem muito quando tem alguma reclamação, mas fomos tão bem recebidos que eu resolvi escrever um texto enorme enaltecendo os dias que ficamos hospedados com a família Komazin.
