City Point Rooms — Hotel in Grad Pula

We used City Point Rooms as our base whilst exploring the area. We arrived early morning and were pleasantly surprised to find they had the room available. The rooms are 3*, but are decorated pleasantly, are spacious, have some basic amenities and have decent aircon. We stayed on the 3rd floor (great - quiet and spacious) but beware - there's no lift! The location is excellent - being just a short walk to the old town, places of interest, the marina, a large selection of bars and restaurants, local buses/bus station and just a 25 minute walk to some (pebbly) beaches. Breakfast was excellent value - good fresh food, presented well - with eggs and tea/coffee provided 'to order'. The thing that makes this place is the people - they can't do enough to help. Viktoria was extremely helpful with suggestions, recommendations for places to eat, trips, maps etc and always very welcoming. Also Kristina - always smiling and friendly - and made the difference to be greeted by such a lovely lady at breakfast each morning - it was like staying with friends! Overall, a very good experience, good value...

Lovely Hotel in the urban downtown of Pula. Not the most modern or comfortable, but it gives you a feeling of the area, food is enjoyable, though not really local, rather international (Fish&Chips, Pasta etc.). Some rooms are very small, but not too small, enough for a night, not suitable to durate the day, however the central location won't encourage you to. Close to the Amphitheatre, beach, parks, downtown and lots of more places to discover. WiFi given, though not very fast (Massengers definitely, streaming maybe, depends on room).

Would recommend for tourists looking for an uncomplicated and central place to stay an discover the city. Not for business...

We had a lovely week here. The air con was amazing and a welcome break from the heat outside and quiet enough to allow a great night's sleep after many busy days exploring Pula and the surrounding area. The young lady who greeted us on reception was lovely, super friendly and helpful and spoke amazing English. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice and a lovely lady looking after the breakfast room each morning and making amazing coffee.
