This place has a charming location just next to the farmers market in a place with big leafy trees. Sometimes a man comes and plays, quite nicely, the acordeon nearby. We ordered two cappuccinos, which were decent and nothing more, as it's the case with all coffee in Pula, as there are no artisanal coffee shops (yet) in the summer of 2022. But the charm of the location certainly makes up for it. As I came to find out later, the habit in Croatia is to be served a glas of cold tap water (absolutely drinkable) along with your coffee. Since we weren't offered any, but all the locals received one along with their coffees, I asked the waiter if he could bring us as well, as it was a really hot August day. He seemed very surprised and asked if we wanted to buy bottles of water. I said no, I would like some glasses of water, just like he had brought the other local customers and asked if it's a service offered only to locals. He laughed and said that for a tip he can bring us anything. As much as I appreciate the waiter's sense of humour, I find it rather unpleasant to be treated worse than a local customer and not be offered the same level of service. The waiter is extremely pleasant, kind and dedicated, he gave us excellent recommendations and made sure we have everything we need and more. Domestic wine is great too. Don't skip the dessert! U međuvremenu su cijene otišle gore (inflacija i slična veselja), kvaliteta obroka stagnira ili se pogoršala, a porcije su se smanjile. Danas smo jeli brancina s blitvom i krumpirom te smo ostali gladni nakon obroka. Možda je to iznimka, ali tu staju pozitivne stvari. U muškom wc-u je pisoar van uporabe, a prostorija sa školjkom zapišana toliko da nisam htio ni ući. Konobar puši pred ulazom u kuhinju. Nakon toga, bez pranja ruku odlazi gostima posluživati hranu. Zaista?! Dvije tete koje rade u kuhinji usred vremena za ručak i gablece sjede na zidiću kraj restorana i isto puše. Nadam se da su oprale ruke prije nego su nastavile s pripremom hrane. Ali to ne možemo znati, jelda? Nekad se na facebook stranici restorana svako jutro objavljivalo kaj je taj dan dnevni menu. Sad se objavljuje svakih 2-3 dana, bez nekog očitog pravila. Papiranti podlošci na koji se stavlja tanjur s hranom su zamijenjeni plastificiranom verzijom. Iako pozdravljam ekološku komponentu smanjivanja otpada, sad je 6. mjesec i plastični podlošci su već pohabani, a sezona još nije ni počela.
