The accommodation has several separate rooms all accessed from a main door to the building then a separate key coded door to a small foyer for Luxury Rooms Floramye and again a separate key code for access to the individual rooms.||Very secure and no need to worry about swipe cards or keys to gain access.||The foyer had maps of the main tourist area that guests can take along with some other brochures. A stand with umbrellas for guest use was also in the foyer and a small tub chair.||The room I stayed in was large along with a separate large bathroom.||The room contained a large bed with nice linen. A tub chair and another chair and small table that had coffee brewing machine, electric jug and mugs and glasses and spoon, bottle opener and cork screw. A small fridge (no freezer) was located under the small table enough to cool some water or drinks or a small amount of refrigerated food or milk.||A medium sized television on the wall with local channels with the ability to log into Netflix using your own account if you have a subscription .||Two large windows with shutters enabled light and air to be controlled in the room. There is also an air conditioning unit.||Plenty of lights and power points including USB ports.||A large wardrobe with hangers that also has some shelves on one side that has a safe and medical box.||There are also multiple supermarkets near the accommodation and a few small food/cafe places and bakery very close by. ||There is a little traffic noise in the morning and evening rush hour but I had no problem with this and slept well .||The WiFi in the room was very good.||The bathroom has towels , hand towel, face washer and bath mat. ||There is also a hair dryer and heated drying rack on the wall for drying towels and power point and a shaver power point.||The bathroom cabinet has two drawers for storing items in.||The shower has two glass sliding doors for easy access and has a rainfall shower head and a smaller shower head that can also be hand held. Plenty of hot water was always available.||The walk to the Riva or the bus station and ferry is approx 15 mins and with two wheeled luggage I had no trouble walking to the accommodation after arriving by train late in the evening. ||The other main bus station for city or urban buses was also approx 15 min walk.||I would say the location is walkable but for those with a lot of luggage or not prone to walking after a day of sightseeing you may prefer to get transportation by bus or taxi .||Overall I would rate this accommodation very highly . The owner communicated well and replied promptly with information about my stay and codes to gain access. I had no issues during my stay, with other guests from the other rooms coming and going always being respectful and as quiet...
Read moreWow what a property. Our flight was delayed but the owner Dino was really easy to contact via email and he was there to greet us at the door. Dino was very pleasant and helpful. Gave us lots of tips of good local places to eat and recommended things to do in the area. There are plenty of leaflets in the communal hallway with ideas for your stay.||||These rooms are based in a quiet apartment block which doesn't look the most inviting on first glance but don't be put off. The entrance being on the entrance floor as you go into the building. There is key card entry into a hallway with 4 apartments. The apartments are beautifully decorated and extremely spacious. Huge kingsize bed and tea/coffee making facilities. They are equipped with all the essentials e.g. towels/toiletries. We were told if there was anything we needed during our stay to just contact the owner. There is a small mini bar which we were able to use to store some cold drinks/snacks that we had bought ourselves. Air-conditioning system was really efficient.||||Apartment is located about a 15 minute walk away from the centre of Split and the port. It is a slight incline all the way down so some might find the walk back up more difficult. A great base slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the centre.||||The only downside is that the apartments have to be paid for in cash on arrival. So if this isn't your first destination or you are staying for an extended period you will have to carry a large...
Read moreWe stayed in room 103 (two twins pushed together) for just one night. The room itself is very nicely decorated and furnished. The rooms are located inside a suite in an apartment building in an urban neighborhood about ten minutes' walk from the old town. They have key card access, a mini fridge, in-room safe, etc. Dino was a great host, accommodating my request for extra pillows and waiting for us in front of the property when we arrived. He provided a recommendation for lunch - Ciba, the place directly across the street, had fantastic local food and excellent service. Try the daily specials! Dino was also easy to get in touch with later in the evening when we decided we wanted to arrange an airport transfer through him instead of taking an Uber (we figured it would be more reliable) and our taxi was waiting outside early in the morning ahead of the scheduled time.||||The only downsides of this accommodation are that the neighborhood didn’t feel super safe/nice at night for walking around alone, and the water pressure in the shower was...
