My wife and I booked a private tour through this operator. On a tour like this we hope to get a sense of the history, culture and atmosphere of the city. Our expectations were met and exceed, our tour guide took us along the standard walking tour of the city hitting the high lights, the cathedral, the gates, lower city, but in her tour she explained the relevance of a particular site in historic terms and for current considerations.

The professionalism, passion and knowledge of our guide was quickly noticed by us. Based on conversations we had, the tour shifted to incorporate answering the questions we had on the history and culture of the city. It was much appreciated.

We participated in the walking tour after paying 15euro per person while it is usually free in other cities in Croatia. The guide was utterly horrible. She recited the script like a 6th grade, and not a good one. Whenever we asked her a question, she didn’t have a lot to say and didn’t seem to want to engage in the discussion. The duration of the tour was inflated with back and forth walking without purpose and chocolate tasting. Worst of all, the tour ended 15mins earlier than advertised (out of 90-min tour) and was told it was an “approximation”. For a paid tour, you’d never expect a 1/6 deviation. It is just a total rip off. I don’t get the good reviews for this company. Maybe the other tours are way better, but this is the worst walking tour. Even if it was a free one, it was...
