Patio Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Nicosia

We had a very disappointing experience at Patio Cocktail Bar. Our group of 14 girls spent around €400, and when we politely asked for just 5 shots on the house, the so-called “manager” rudely replied: “Why should we give you anything? You only did the minimum consumption.” This is completely unprofessional and shows a lack of respect towards paying customers. The platters were overpriced and not worth the money. The atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable with the heat — only two air coolers at the entrance and three fans for the entire place, which made it unbearable.

Hospitality is about creating a good experience, not making guests feel unwelcome or like they are a burden. With such a poor overall bad management, this was definitely the last time we visited this venue.

There are plenty of other bars in Nicosia that actually appreciate their customers — unfortunately, Patio is not...

Seriously disappointed with the customer service and attitude towards customers. We had arranged reservations for a table of 8 people one week previously. Four days before, I called in to ask if we can make it a table if 10 and was told that it wouldn't be a problem. Upon arrival, nobody could find our reservation. We were told that nobody remembers such a reservation although we even showed calling times and dates from our phones.

The least staff could've done would've been to apologize for the mistake and attempt to find a solution. Instead, we were told that maybe we didn't remember correctly and didn't actually make the specified reservation.

Seriously unprofessional and disappointing behavior! I don't recommend this place to anyone, especially due to staff behavior towards its customers.

You may be left with no place to go despite having made reservations...

Patio is my favorite Bar in Cyprus. From the moment you enter the doors you are greeted by a host specially dedicated to accompany you to your table. Everything is superb about this beautifully designed place from functionality to beauty. A high roof that opens for ventilation and beautifully decorated walls. Their food and cocktails are superb and very well priced. The staff are the biggest advantage to me as they are all very professional whether its the managers, barmen or waiters. The owner George is a sweetheart whom always around and ready for help if needed.
