Great food, horrible service. We were a table of four (some Russian speaking, like the head waitress - this is important for later) and we ordered a combo mix and two grilled fish. Fairly quickly they brought us the village salad, which was part of the combo mix so only two of us ate it. We were expecting the mains to arrive immediately after but nothing else came for 30 mins. At least two other tables were sat next to us and their mains served before us.

We asked for an update, the waitress said she would check but never came back. We asked again and she admitted that the kitchen is busy but forgot to tell us earlier. Eventually, after waiting 1h total, I got inside to ask for the bill as we wanted to leave. The head waitress appeared shocked, had the audacity of saying that the salad was a starter (no it wasn't, we didn't ask for it as a starter and nowhere in the menu said that), then she came to our table and was very inappropriate: she ignored me and spoke Russian to the other party members, saying that I was shouting (I wasn't, plenty of people to confirm that), saying that "we have a problem" (referring to me, rude), to which the others replied "we know" (referring to the late food) and were equally annoyed by her behaviour. Eventually the food came and we ate it.

So overall good food but poor staff. Behaviour. Some training is needed, to say the least. Anyway, the place has a lot of positive reviews so hopefully this is...

Wonderful food, wonderful people. My partner expressed his delight that the chicken was the best he had eaten in a restaurant outside of France. The chips are to die for. The vegetarian options are limited in as far as mains but they are so accommodating with mixing and matching starters to build a meal you will enjoy. The staff are friendly and helpful and even in the dire heat have a smile on their faces. Genuine people with a genuinely talented chef working behind the scenes. Earlier in the year their desert cake was the best free desert around. In summer, watermelon is on offer but you can ask to swap for a shot of mastiha if you want to carry on with a boozy end. I had a wonderful experience . The staff, especially the girls , were very kind, friendly, and welcoming, which made the atmosphere even more pleasant.

The food tasted amazing — you can really feel it’s made with love. The Chicken Souvlaki was tender, flavorful, and simply delicious, while the Moussaka was rich, hearty, and absolutely mouthwatering.
