Friends Resto Bar — Restaurant in Paphos Municipality

Normally not one for staying in one place when on Holiday, but the Friends Resto Bar had us captivated with it’s entertainment and the quality of food served. The Acts Live acts 6 nights a week (Sundays a quiet night in PHEW!), whilst we were there we had some excellent acts. Tom Jones tribute singer who the following week was Neil Diamond, the first half of his show was the tribute part then went on to a melody of different songs from various groups (4) act. We also had an Elvis (5) Tribute singer who also was excellent then a Freddy Mercury (5*) Tribute singer another excellent show. The other acts were good with a mix of songs all of whom I forgot to note their names (drink had nothing to do with it) The Food A mix of British and Greek food of all the meals we had there were freshly cooked and excellent. The Staff We have never stayed anywhere before where the staff were so accommodating and pleasant. George not sure of his job title but he seemed to run everything when on site, we arrived close to midnight and he booked us in and took us to our room, he also runs the bar from mid-afternoon to well past midnight, if your glasses are close to empty you only need to catch Georges eye and they are delivered straight to your table by one of the waiter/esses before you know, it might seem a strange way to do it but every night we stayed for the live acts the place was packed; on that note make sure you book your table for the...

Went for breakfast, advertises on A-Board outside that it's €2.90. Went in, got menu, no sign of this deal. Asked and was told must order a drink to get it. No problem with that, for 6 of us on breakfast deal with 3 squash, 2 Pepsi & a cuppa tea came to €30.20. Not bad considering. The service however was dire. Young lass with no smile, made me feel awkward for askin anything, stomped around like it was our fault she doesn't get paid well. Never once said you're welcome no matter how many times we wasted our breath saying thank you, (I gave up wasting my breath), didn't come around and ask if everything was OK with our breakfast. Only time she smiled was when she heard that there was more than €30.20 in the receipt cup. If I went in again I'd ask the supervisor/more senior waiter to serve us, she was nice and smiled and was courteous. Only reason why we left a tip is because we're polite, decent and understand that there was more than just 'stroppy face' involved in making/serving our breakfast. Hope they take as feedback and help the waitress that served us learn that a smiling and "you're welcomes" now and then...

It was our first time visiting Cyprus and we stumbled upon a resturant/bar called "Friends" we didnt expect much but it was an amazing experience to say the least. The staff, especially Emanuel and George, were amazing, nice, fast etc. Not to mention the job was done quick and clean. The music and the ambient were amazing hence the 5 stars and we both agree if we could we would give more because the 5 stars do not express enough. Food, waiters, drinks, music, vibe were amazing and if we come back we definetly know where we will first go for dinner or just a casual evening beer. These words are not enough to describe the pleasure we had in this bar and we really hope people decide to go here because they will not regret it and again a special thanks to George and Emanuel for making this experience, not just a dinner and a drink, but a whole vacation better. 100/10 bar and staff.. keep up the...
