Marelia Apartments — Hotel in Paralimni

Me and my partner stayed for 5 weeks from mid April to mid May.||||The apartments and our room: Nice, spacious and money worth, It was clean and had all the amenities apart from a washing machine, but don't let that put you off as a dry cleaners is literally 5 minutes down the road. The bathroom was adequate enough for me and my partner and it had WiFi and Air Con. It had a tall American fridge and was open planned, plus your own balcony.||||Host: The host was genuinely a hospitable and friendly guy, there was nothing that he couldn't do for you, his availability was excellent, could contact him via Text or Call.||||Surroundings: The apartment is on a bit of a hill, so would recommend a car if you weren't up for walking up and down on a frequent basis. About half way down, there is another place to stay called St Elios Resort, and further down as you head towards Protaras (10 minute walk) you have a KFC and a couple of Kiosks to purchase the majority of household foods/items.||||Overall, would give this place a 10/10 and would highly recommend this...

For the second time a group of 7 friends stayed 2 nights at the apartments as we were scuba diving in the area. The apartments are in a quiet residential area with unlimited on street parking. They are clean, very well maintained, 10 minutes easy walk to the main centre of Protaras. The apartments are fashioned in a traditional greek style with nice painted wooden window shutters internal and external doors. They have twin or double beds with a well equipped kitchenette, large fridge with ice box, kettle, toaster, hob, air conditioning and traditional ceiling fans. Each apartment has a balcony and above reception is a nice area for relaxing with outside furniture. An ideal location for a trip to the Protaras area. Reception is open during the day time with a 24 hour contact via mobile phone. Wifi is free and fast. I have given it 4 stars as my only negative point is that although hot water is plentiful the pressure in the two rooms I have stayed in is not as good as it could be. Visiting a friend from 7-10 NOV, although most of the resort has shut down now for summer I enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay. |The weather has been fantastic and the apartment itself is very quaint and full of character. |Plenty of space, very clean and good facilities which included a fridge with complimentary water on arrival , kettle, tea and coffee, tv, bedroom, lounge area/kitchen and shower room. |Shower was very poor pressure but plenty of hot water. |Bed was comfortable, didn’t need any heating or air con but the blanket provided was needed at night time. |To sum up .... great value for money, excellent base for a short stay with great facilities.
