We visited this pizzeria last night to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant was almost empty, since it was a weekday. We were left with mixed feelings. They brought us carpaccio and burrata quite quickly, as well as drinks. But even after 30-40 minutes of waiting, there was still no pizza. During this time, a young man came up to us, asking if everything was okay and if we liked everything. I said yes, the food is good, but we are still waiting for our pizza more than half an hour after ordering it. He nodded, but did nothing with this information, and simply went outside. Another 10 minutes later, our waitress came to pick up the empty dishes, I asked her if there would be pizza, she said yes, and went to the cashier. It seemed that the order was simply forgotten. In the end, we received the pizza 1 hour after ordering. It is obvious that the staff was trained to inquire whether everything is ok, but was not taught how to analyze the information received if everything is not ok in the end. Too bad. Read more'Quite happy we finally have a nice pizza restaurant down here in our Holešovice's Bažiny (Swamps) district. My neapol style, ie with large fluffy edge, pizza was outstanding, linguines vongole and soups were also very nice. As to drinks, wine by glass is obviously bad choice as to the price, better to take half litter or a bottle. Small brewery lager was worth trying.
Service very friendly, but we came out of peak time.
Cannot wait to return with my pizza addicted teenager to hear his opinion...

Our server was a larger brunette lady, with metal in her face. The food was ok, the beer was ok, we wanted to pay and I thought that would be it.
I was really disturbed though to hear that according to the plump lady, San Carlo doesn't pay their staff properly and that they need tips to survive. It's clear that this lady is distressed from her working conditions as she seemed offended that I decided not to tip, and insisted on arguing the point with me in front of my companion.
