This hotel has no place in a beautiful city like Prague.|Our first night here had already set the bar for what we were up against. The food selection was quite basic and the taste bellow average. The only good part was the dessert, and you would have to try to foul that up.|As soon as we came into our room, we saw the worst part of it all - the bathroom doors (if you can even call it that). They would fit much more nicely on the closet, but even that was a stretch. Not only were we not able to lock these closet doors, we weren't even able to close them like normal doors.|The only thing someone had to do to invade your privacy in there was gently pull the door.|At least the bathroom itself was okay even though it was so small.|The beds were pretty basic, and we were not so surprised to find out that even the staff was unenthusiastic about the hotel's image - they didn't even give the room a proper clean up for all 5 days we were there even after we put the "Please clean" sign on our door knob. We weren't even that messy. The worst thing me and my friends did was accidentally leave a big, but shallow stain on one of our pillows and some paper fragments on the floor. I am owner of a travel agency and people who work in tourism and hotel industry should be nice, polite, helpful, with a smile ... non of this we did not see in this 4 hotel. We have lot of groups in Olympic hotels during entire year and our Czech partner announced as VIP clients. Of course it is not our first time staying in this hotel, but things are getting worse instead better. We have to check out tomorrow, but somehow they thought it is today and we ciuld not enter the parking lot either to our room!? I explaind to the lady at reception that something is wrong with parking ticket and she asked me like a teacher in primary school: Do you know what time is it? Of course you cannot park your car since you had to check out 4 hours ago!? I tried toexplain that we reserved hotel 10.07.-14.07.; so we are leaving tomorrow. But of course she knows better ... so unprofessional and unadecvate for 4* hotel. After 15 minutes of persuing her to check, she realized that she made a mistake and without any word of excuse she gave me cards and said everything is ok. Read moreWhen we arrived we were called to the service desk. You'd think to check us in, but she just said some thing about us in their language which we don't speak and only spoke in single words. "Voucher?", when we said we book through green citytrip she just walked off and didn't come back. Saw her once with food in her mouth and for the next few minutes we just stood there. Another couple was getting helped by one older man. He just screemed at them, I've never seen someone be this rude to his clients ever, especially since they were nothing but nice. He was angry they didn't print their voucher and instead had it at their phones. Printing is not necessary at all, since they give you a form anyway which you have to fill all the information in again. I wanted to tell them so badly that they shouldn't let him treat them like that. After some time another women came to help us and she wasn't rude.||And every morning and evening getting past the service desk they wouldn't even look up or say hi. Just faces glued to their phones. If anyone from high up this hotel reads this: please fire this old man. Since all he does is scream at clients for no reason at all.||Oh and our bathroom was covered in black...
