We stayed 1 night in Gregory House. We booked the room for 2 adults and 1 kid on booking.com. We had to change our travel day so we discussed with the Team in messages that we have to cancel our reservation and make a new one. That's what we did. We got a Queen size bed room with nothing other sleeping place to my son. We slept together 3 of us in one not to big bed. Our room was really hot. The outside temperature was about 25-26 Celsius and our room kind of same.. We got a fan but it was not enough to cool down the room. Our room was on the ground floor. We had to keep open the window during the night because of the heat. It was really noisy and everyone from the apartment house came down to smoke cigarette front of the entrance, the cigarette smell came to our room in every half hour or so. . I have to say we had not so pleasant stay. We tried to ask another room but the place was fully booked. The lady at the reception was helpful . And the price was really not expensive for one night. The rooms are fine and clean. The location is quite central. Maybe if we have room the other side of the building I have little bit...
Read morewe arrived late on friday, around 9:15 pm, which was known long before. anyway we had to pay at the front desk a small fee for this. the check in was friendly and quick. When we got to our room, we gave up believing. For the price we payed, we had ordered a room WITH a kitchen, a TV, a hairdryer and a decent standard would have been proper towels, not just ONE rag. The bed linen is with holes and dirty, the mattress on the bed is sagging, it is very stuffy in the whole house, there is no air conditioning. At night you can't sleep because some drunk people are yelling around in front of the club across the street, unfortunately you have to sleep with the window open. The icing on the cake is that we cannot reach anyone by phone and the reception is unmanned on Saturday, maybe whole weekend, is that normal?! I never had a worse stay...
Read more(We had a deluxe double room, no balcony) This hotel is placed on a quiet street in Prague only a 10 min walk from the train station. The receptionist was very friendly and I enjoyed my stay here. There is a modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower (no shower door or curtain), the problem with that is the water from the shower goes onto the rest of the bathroom floor as well. Other than that there isn't much to complain about. The bed was large and comfy, there was a tv and small table and chairs as well as a mini fridge. The walls were quite bare but the bedroom ceiling was quite tall to my surprise. Definitely recommend coming here if you're on a budget but don't want to stay in a hostel. The food in the area is mostly pizza and kebab however, so you may have to travel further for...
