I went to this place a while back and was shocked at the customer service from one waiter in particular.
To set the scene, I came there with my friends to have a nice lunch. We were a pretty big group so from the attitude from the beginning we were a burden. So right of the bat he was very short with all of us. I was very nice and tried to be easy with him and help him out but he was just very angry.
When the food came out we had things missing and wrong orders all over. It was very disorganised and he even yelled at me for taking the wrong food, and it was my job to remember what I got. I'm sorry, but who is the one getting paid for service? Organisation is your job. I understand we came in as a big group and maybe he was just having a bad day, but the tone he was using was very demanding and just Unacceptable.
Now the food was very good and fresh, but the atmosphere with the waiter made everthing very uncomfortable. All of my friends felt the same.
When I got up to pay, I attempted to pay with my card and was hasled about it. I was also told if I wanted to make it in prague I should always have cash. I'm sorry but this is a tourist town. Taking out cash is risky if you don't know where to go, so just pay with your card is the safest. I had been living there for a long time so I knew this.
In the end I payed and left. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had even though the food was soooo good.
My suggestion would be to order take out and pay with cash. The food is worth...
Read moreWe planned to see a theatre play around the corner and ran into this place. As we had a taste for Curry and our standard places were out of reach by foot we decided to try this place. The atmosphere is typical but acceptabel. The play some modern Indian music, which didn't help for an intimate atmosphere, but at least it was authentic. The staff was friendly and helpful, but we had to wait quite long before ordering.... We were the only ones there! The choice of food is OK. You'll find something for everybody. Sweet, spicy, vegetarian, etc. They only didn't have ginger beer...? The food itself was good. The vindaloo was a little bit on the sweet side but nicely spicy. But what hit me the most was the naan. The dough was good, but the "topping" was the best I've ever had! It's called the mixed naan and they put butter, garlic, onion and chilli on it. I love it! We didn't have time to try anything more. We will next time when we go to...
Read moreI made an order through Bolt in this restaurant 20.11.2020. By mistake I forgot to order naan bread, so to get some help I called to the restaurant (I was ready to pay this bread, but I didn’t want to make another order not to pay delivery). The man who answered told that “he doesn’t have time to decide it”. It’s horrible service for me. I work as well in a very popular bistro in the city, and we also have very busy sometimes, but I will always decide the problem of customer. All he needed is to contact Bolt support and to ask to add the item to the order(Bolt food doesn’t have good support for the customer side, so I couldn’t do it). If you cannot - you don’t have time - I think it’s possible to add a bread as a present (I do it as well for customer, for example with a big bill - we had 500kč) The food was good, but the service made the mood of...
