When La Patrona first opened a few years ago, it showed a lot of promise. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious, making it a standout spot in Prague. However, unfortunately, things have changed. On my recent visit, I noticed a significant decline in both the quality of the food and the service. The staff, while still polite, seemed untrained and very slow. There were long pauses between being seated and having our order taken, and it felt like the waiters were unsure about who should approach the table, as if they were nervous about interacting with customers. Even more concerning, they failed to clear the plates after we finished eating. One plate stayed on our table for the entire evening, which left a bad impression. The restaurant's interior, which I once found appealing, now seems poorly maintained. Dust and even visible spider webs (see one of the photos I attached) in certain spots make the space feel neglected. It’s really disappointing to see a place with so much potential, both in terms of its design and its cuisine, fall so far. La Patrona could be a gem in Prague, but sadly, the food and service no longer live up to its initial promise. I hope the owner takes these issues seriously and makes improvements, as the restaurant still has great potential.

New to mexican but fancied a girls' night out with some tacos and margaritas . Booked online easy enough. It's not a massive place but has an open kitchen so you can see the chefs cooking, which was nice . I marked low for the atmosphere as there wasn't really any, but that could be due to our time there as was early in the evening and a week day . Staff were friendly, but I don't feel we were checked on, really . Ordered 2 melted gouda cheese starter Queso Fundido one with chorizo, of which 1 would have been enough it was nice, but very rich and cheese went dense pretty quick, making it hard to eat . We had Pollo en adobe chicken and asada tacos 🌮 which we thought would be crisp type tacos but were soft and Birria nachos . The food was nice, but everything was covered in onion, but it didn't state on the menu, or we would have requested without .Our favourite part was the frozen margheritas although we could only manage one as they were huge. Overall, nice experience with nice drinks .

I m very sad to write this as we used to visit Patrona very often since you opened it in Kotva. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience. We had 1 beer, 1 frozen margarita, burito and nachos (photo below). We were supposed to pay around 800 czk, but funny thing, we've been charged 1100 czk, which we noticed after we paid. So we went back to get an explanation, as we could be wrong. We left with no recipe (which is very confusing. As a costumer I have the right to see what i pay for). We have been told that THEY ARE NOT ALOWED TO LET US SEE the recipe ? Long story short, after all we've been told 300 czk is a service fee. The question is, since when is it legall to charge the cost of service in CZ, and how do we end up at a fee 300 czk for literally nothing ? Also there is no mention of the fee in the menu. We wouldn't be mad if they admitted they charged something twice, which is obvious. But this attitude was horrible and very unprofessional.

I'm usually a fan of La Patrona, but my most recent experience was very disappointing. The service was a major letdown from the start. It was almost as if our table was invisible, as we had to practically wave down our waitress just to place our orders for drinks and food.

The food eventually arrived but brought with it a nasty surprise - a hair in my burrito. Accidents can happen, of course, but it's how they're dealt with that counts. When I informed the waitress about the issue, her response was a simple "oops". No apology, no reassuring words, just an "oops" and then she took the plate away.

For the rest of our stay, our table continued to be ignored. There was no follow-up on the hair issue, and the waitress didn’t check on us. This left us feeling pretty much neglected.

When the bill came, I said I would pay for my drink but not for the burrito. The waitress's reaction was honestly baffling. She seemed annoyed, made a frustrated gesture and mumbled "oh burrito". I was astounded by her unprofessionalism.

I've been to La Patrona multiple times and enjoyed it, but this time was a stark contrast. It was a 1/10 experience. I hope they can learn from this feedback, as the quality of service is just as important as the...

The visit to the place was very bad. I called to make a reservation, they told me that they were full and that they would contact me in 5 minutes, 15 passed and nothing. My partner stopped by the place and they only had 2 tables outside and one inside. We called again and now it turned out that they did have a place and in 15 minutes it was empty, everything started from the moment we arrived The waitress took a long time to take the order, we only ordered 3 frozen margaritas, some nachos, a gringa de pastor and a gringa de carnitas. This took over 40 minutes. The waitress arrived with dishes that we had not ordered and late, the nachos were the last dish they put on the table, I told them that they had already taken too long and they only told me that their food was about to come out. In the end the waitress came in to prepare the nachos and some of our food, the kitchen and floor staff started yelling at each other making the visit even more uncomfortable, the food was really bad, and when it came time to pay they charged me. For the dishes that the waitress got wrong, it was a very unpleasant moment. It was a very bad experience Don't visit this place! And if they hear you speak Spanish, they pay less...
