Hudební Charleston — Restaurant in Prague

Had some drinks and food outside. Live music outside was a nice bonus. Everything was very satisfying and good service until we had to pay. They tried to scam us: my friend asked to pay for food and 2 bottles of wine, I was supposed to pay for another bottle of wine and a bottle of water. The waitress gave the entire bill to my friend, my friend didn't realize and paid the whole bill, plus a tip. When I went to the bar to pay for a bottle of wine and a bottle water (which was paid already), the waitress happily charged me instead of saying it was paid already. When we realized it and went back to ask for money back, no apologies, nothing, she just threw cash back with an angry face. I ordered a grilled chicken steak and the waitress asked me what I wanted it with, I asked what I could have with it, she started listing different kinds of potatoes, I said I wanted regular french fries. In the end, I had to pay extra for them, so my lunch turned out to be quite expensive, and the french fries were not great, but the grilled steak was really good. She gave us the bill and said that the tips were not included. My friend paid and left her a tip, she thanked him. When I saw my bill and that the fries were listed as well, I just wanted to pay what was written there - 427 crowns, didn’t say anything, and she was a bit pissed that I didn’t give her a tip. Above expectations! We looked at the front and thought it would be a nice and cozy place. Turns out they have an entire floor downstairs. We just grabbed a beer but the food on the other tables looked amazing. Also there prices are very good. During our stay we even had live piano music. The ambiance of the cafe was somewhat classy but with a surprising homey feel to it. In short I'd definitely advise going there. It's a very nice in a place you wouldn't expect it to be.

Edit: We went there for the food as well. It was very good for the price you payed. The appetizers where almost an entire meal. The risotto as main dish was also very good. In the end we had no room left for dessert. But it was a very nice evening with some...
