Vinohrady Garden Apartment — Hotel in Prague

Jan is friendly, welcoming and an all round great host. Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Garden Apartment. It is immaculately presented and decorated, spotless, spacious and airy and in a perfect location - a quiet and very pretty area with an abundance of places to eat and drink and yet, only 25-30 minutes walk into the centre of Prague. The tram would save time but we didn't use it, preferring to walk and soak up the atmosphere and sights along the way. We found the beds to be very comfortable, the apartment was very well equipped and the water pressure for the shower was amazing. Jan's photos reflect the apartment very accurately. Jan had added a sofa bed to the living room after we enquired about comfortable seating. That made for a lovely space to relax between excursions and meant No 3 son had a bed to himself, which was a welcome bonus. There are maps in every room which are fascinating to study. We hired a car so having the safe parking space was really appreciated as was the cell phone Jan left for ease of contacting him, if needed. The nearby park is beautiful. It was the location for no less than three outdoor weddings whilst we were there. The view from the park over the vineyard across the city took our breath away. We stayed for 4 nights in this wonderfull spacious and very clean appartment. It's situated in a popular quiet part of town . Potraviny ( supermarket ) at your doorstep and great affordable restaurants within a few minutes walk for tasty lunches and dinners. Namesti Miru ( metro station ) is a 5 minutes walk to take you wherever you want to go in this awesome city. The appartment comes with a very reasonably priced private parkingspace right next to your appartment if you travel by car . Also there is a park next to the appartment to go for a nice walk. Jan was a fantastic host who runs a very professional operation with his apartment. The main selling point for me, however, where the maps which Jan had displayed on the walls - some of them showing his travels around New Zealand, Australia and a world trip. Not only were they a great decoration, but added a personal touch to the apartment, and showed that Jan himself was a keen traveller, so you know you could trust him to sort you out while you're away yourself!
