I had Tacos Suaves (the non-crispy ones) de cochinita pibil and also tasted the Tacos de pollo. Both dishes were almost flawless, just the salad was a little bitter but still edible. They have a nice variety of spicy sauces on each table, so you can choose your own spicy flavor. Tamarindo lemonade to drink, definitely recommended. The service was pleasant, always smiling and nice, checking on us every now and then. Our waitress also knew how to correctly pronounce the dishes in spanish, even though she looked local. From what I saw the decoration inside was appropriate to the culture, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Prices are somewhat appropriate, around 150-180 CZK per dish, which in my opinion is average to the area. I definitely had more expensive Mexican food nearby. The only less comfortable aspect of this restaurant was the restroom, it could have been cleaner, and the hand-washing setup was not at all contactless (talking about the tap and the soap and towel dispensers). Extra points for the illustrations on the restroom door though. Finally, I propose to come by public transport as the parking places are pretty full in the streets, not even mentioning the need to pay until midnight on...

I read a lot of positive reviews on this place and with an average rating of 4.4, I went and tried it. Most reviews mention an outstanding service and authenticity of the food but unfortunately I cannot say I was impressed by neither of these 2.

We were served by a lady who barely said a word, gave the menu, took the order and that's it, no smile, hardly polite, so that already caught quite a cold from the start.

Unfortunately, in Corona times, cleanliness was also lacking, the table was very sticky probably from the previous customers spilled drinks, and had not been wiped, and there was no soap in the lady bathroom.

When it comes to the food, we ordered 2 different kinds of quesadillas, one with beef and apples and another one (I can remember the name but it was the one at the bottom of the quesadilla section). Both came with some packed ready made salad, and the overall taste had nothing special, no specific Mexican spice to it and there was barely no apple inside the apple one, which is a shame.

I hope this was somehow an "isolated incident" and hope that it does not reflect the overall quality of the place, maybe I will give it another try one...

Good simple but tasty daily menu offer. I was recommended the turkey breast with lemon sauce which went well together during the hot weather. Great place to sit outside in the center with a lot of green around and though you sit next to the street, it's quiet and you don't notice some cars around now and then. Only small recommendation would be to make the Hibiscus lemonade a bit less sweat. I love sweet but I would expect this one a bit less. I would normally rate this place a 4 star but the lady helping out yesterday made my day so for her the 5th star is added and well deserved. I seldom have experienced somebody who seems to truly love what she does and with a sincere smile and interest to make the customers having a great time. Pleasant, polite, energetic and with a smile, what more do you want? And how nice would it be if this would become a new standard for customer service in Prague ;-). Zluta Pumpa, keep going and I'll...

This place is wonderful. Although they serve mostly Mexican food, the style is kept Spanish. The menu of the day is written on a board that is on the outside wall. The food is delicious and it is not that pricey. Given the calm location (but still in the center) and the beautiful interior, it is a great place to go for lunch (or dinner) in Prague. When the menu of the day is ordered, you get also little bowl of nachos as an appetizer. Furthermore, the drinks served (e.g. Tequila Sunrise) are of high quality and tasty. One little downside is that the staff sometimes seems a little annoyed, but they are never rude nor mean. (Btw. if you are a vegetarian, you can order vegetarian version of meat burrito.)

Okay-ish. We had a reservation for 6 and we were 7, but still there was not enough space to comfortably sit 6 people. Service was a bit confusing, some items in the menu weren’t available, the menu was too large, we were told card payment was available, then not, then yes again. Food was good, my homemade nachos a bit soggy (needed a fork to eat), nothing extraordinary. Overall it didn’t feel like an authentic Mexican experience. After having tried quite a few Mexican restaurants in the city, I would rather go to La Patrona.

On a really busy Wednesday night it seems like the 2 waiters could not handle it. Maybe they should just hire some more people or get a different attitude. The lady who took our orders were running around stressed and in a bad mood. At one time we ordered 1 beer and 1 Radler and told her many times, this is not a Radler but a beer even after tasting it. But she insisted it was and just left. Did not even offer to give us what we ordered. The food was OK, but heard from many friends that customer service is bad.
